‘23 EN TE Emmanuel Okoye (Tennessee commit)

The four-star athlete from the NFL Academy in London, who’s originally from Nigeria, told GoVols247 that he arrived at Tennessee on Tuesday night and is set to attend his first classes there this week. First-session summer classes at UT are scheduled to begin on Thursday.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Okoye was the last member of the Vols’ 2023 class to arrive on campus. The other six signees from Tennessee’s class who weren’t early enrollees joined the Vols by last week to begin summer workouts.

"I think he's probably more athletic than most people I've seen even in the NFL and they are some crazy athletes," said Umenyiora, who played as a defensive end for the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons. "He has a completely different level that he has been able to get to and his numbers indicate that. The abilities he has are second to none and once he starts to train properly and eat properly he is just going to go to a completely different level. I'm actually afraid for people."

That’s coming from a two time Super Bowl winner. That’s big time respect.

@Enki_Amenra Can we get Heupel's face on this gif?

This kid is why I’m not overly concerned about a second TE in this class. Although adding Amir Jackson or Michael Smith to Echols would still be nice
