No I didn’t see it but I figured it was probably warranted.Did you see it??
Slaughter didn’t go celebrate with his teammates. That was in the other direction. He and Spencer were alone on the other side of the field and he turned 180 degrees from the Hadden TD to trash talk Rattler. It wasn’t a team celebration. It was unnecessary taunting. Happened right in front of me. I knew it before they pulled the flag.
35+15=50Somebody straighten me out on this…
15 yd penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
They made us kick from the 20, that’s 15 yds less right…
Then they moved the ball to the 50 after the fair catch…
Is that two 15 yarders we were accessed…
I’m confused about that or maybe I just plain missed something…
Slaughter's not even in the defensive boxscore either....but I thought I saw him out there a couple of times....not sure what he or Wright did, whichever one it was.
A flag for celebration is flat fun police and should stop. No one should be penalized for doing the Icky Shuffle or the Electric Slide after a TD. If you start teabagging the defender, I have a lot more sympathy for the flag. Easy to enforce and regulate. Just takes common sense. Sadly....Also being flagged for doing the Prime Time Shuffle, at home, in a huge game, in a huge moment, is just ridiculous. He didn't taunt anyone or do anything questionable. See worse stuff every game that isn't flagged. Only Tennessee.
