Goldfish is changing its name to ‘Chilean Sea Bass.’ Here’s why
The Pepperidge Farm snack brand is tweaking its name for a limited time to “Chilean Sea Bass,” a more grown-up title, the Campbell’s Company announced Wednesday. It’s part of a strategy to attract adults and reestablish its relevance amid a broader decline in snacking following a pandemic peak.

What a dumb idea, but I guess they're all just slapping their legs and guffawing.
That's kinda reaching as a parallel, but for the sake of the all-holy Reese's peanut butter cup candy bar, I'm good.At least theys tryin. Reese's did that with they candy bar. They said...
"hey, let's do something nobody else has done with candy bars. Let's make a candy bar that's shaped totally different. AND, instead of calling our candy bar a candy bar let's call it a Reese's peanut butter candy bar but instead of calling it a candy bar, let's just say peanut butter cups. It will have everybody talking about it"
And now it's one of, if not the most popular candy bar ever.
