Calling them the creme of the crop is a bit to much for me. They have not played anyone, that's all. Let's wait until next week after the Georgia gameYou watched them play? They pass the eyeball test right now. Definitely more than we’re doing. They handled OU who we touted as great when we played them.
No we're not, IF, IF, IF, Heup has the guts to do to Nico what he did to Joe. We have a guy on the team that could play the scheme better at this point. For better or worse we're stuck with him this year, so I hope so. A little "dink and dunk" passing on 2nd down, wouldn't go amiss either.
Nico has been missing wide open guys all year. He has often had plenty of time he just didn't make the throws. The 1st sack last night Brazzell was open over the middle for a 1st down, Nico missed it. On his interception he threw into double coverage and again Brazzell was open over the middle for a 1st down. There is plenty of video evidence that Nico is not seeing the whole field and has guys open every week. He missed a wide open TE at end of game against Ark and missed Nimrod on a crosser at end of regulation last night. The offensive problems aren't 75% O-line.The plays have been there Nico just hasn't been making them.No we're not, IF, IF, IF, Heup has the guts to do to Nico what he did to Joe. But in fairness, unlike Joe, 75% of the QB problem is the OL, So it might not make a difference. Just the same, giving the gas man a lookie-see wouldn't hurt. I said than once, this COULD happen if Nico falters. Boy did some of you let me have it. Yet, here we are.
I beg to be wrong, but I think Bama is going to exploit Nico's inexperience, we will maybe see fumbles and ball strips galore. They've seen if they go after him, I mean really go after him, that's what will result. And Bama isn't known for being gentle. This is where Nico's slim frame I and others have mentioned will come into play. It will be Bama's heart's desire to break our QB. So whether we desire it or not, we may yet see the GOG on the field (Gulf Oil Guy). Despite this, my faith in our Vols remains, win, lose, or draw.
Cool, so change QBs.Nico has been missing wide open guys all year. He has often had plenty of time he just didn't make the throws. I told you Texas hadn't played anyone. Cream of the crop was a stretchThe parity in the league this year is unbelievable. TX is the cream of the crop thus far, but things are changing in front of our eyes. I guess the worst teams are MS st, Auburn, UF, but those are the best/worst teams I’ve ever seen in the league. The broadcast was comparing it to the NFL and I’ve thought the same thing for weeks now. Any given Saturday.
