5 star prep school running back decommits from Auburn. Considering only Ole Miss and Tennessee. He was worried about Auburn running the spread. Should be interesting. I like Ole Miss in this battle because he can come play right away and Nutt has a good history with running backs.

Just an opinion but... I think a really good RB would have a very good shot at significant playing time this year at UT. Hardesty can't stay healthy. Creer might be good but we don't know. Foster needs a reliable quality back- up that could get 10-15 carries per game.

he definitely has a shot at playing time this year but that possibility is much more realistic at ole miss. Foster is going to get his carries. Hardesty looked good this year and wasn't nearly as a injured as much as previous seasons. I think we can all agree that creer looks special.

I'm not down on the kid or trying to undercut him... but I really didn't see Creer do anything special this year. The potential seems to be there but he wasn't really making a huge push for PT or anything.

I can see a more wide open field at Ole Miss... OTOH, UT has alot more to offer from a football and winning standpoint. Nutt isn't who I'd want to play for... and a kid like this really shouldn't be the type to run away from competition.

Talk on Finebaum today is this kid is a big time player who should give Tennessee a long look with its history of running the ball and new coaches. He will visit in two weeks.

creer showed some very good vision throughout this year. Hes not pushing for playing time because he has two upper classmen above him.

I was impressed with Creer as a true Freshman. I really don't know why a lot of people are not very high on him.

Wasn't it Cadillac Williams who decommitted from
Tennessee and wound up at Auburn? It is time to pay them back. Plus, we play them next 2 years.

i've learned not to get my hopes up for recruiting anymore. I will say though getting Berry last year was freaking awesome.

We hardly ever win a recruiting battle with Auburn.. this would be sweet..
and we've already lost one to Ole piss this year with that Marlon Walls LB guy.. i wouldnt want to loose another recruit to that second tier SEC team

maybe this could be Drayton's big steal this year. I stated in another thread that I look for him to have one big splash this year, even with only being on the Hill a short time. What year in Ben-Jarvus? Anyone who thinks Creer is average is an idiot. What Tennessee has going for it in this case is that we have a history of letting several guys get touches.
