Expectations and discipline are too much for EG.

Hope he at least graduates, him paying for it of course, but I hope he graduates.

Say what we will about Eric Gordon but had he not jumped that route and intercepted the ball against Vandy at home, we would have lost that game.

The stadium erupted when he intercepted that pass and returned it for the winning t.d. in overtime....

We would have lost? What are you basing that on?

Funny how the SEC ruled he should have been whistled down on that play. Otherwise we would have zero SEC wins. I thought Gordon was a descent player.

at best Vandy kicks a fg and UT gets the ball with the chance to win in OT. Not sure how that game now becomes a guaranteed loss without Gordon's int

Folks, Gordon made some big plays and some bonehead ones. He also had a nice pick against NC State that helped. He was too slow to play the nickel back in man coverage. He did what he could, but I am not sure he was in the best condition physically or mentally. So we will never know what could have been.

Why is there a mystery every time a player has issues , just tell the truth and end speculation and drama. :rtfm:

it was ruled that way because of an errant whistle. regardless, it would have given the ball back to us and still given a chance for the win. I agree though, Gordon was a decent player. Sometimes he took too many risks trying to make a play on the ball, otherwise he was reliable.

How exactly were we going to lose that game? I mean specifically.
