Don't have to time to look for it, but there was an article in USA Today this week about Pearl and ESPN. He said that he screwed up his "dream job." He said that he was very thrilled to get the ESPN job, but he is not trying to use it just to get back in coaching. He said that when he got hired, the first thing he told ESPN folks is that he "won't be vanilla."
Would be interesting if he did a UT game because I think he has alot of praise for CCM.
God, you're lost sometimes. You were talking about Bobby Petrino not Bruce Pearl when I asked that question.
Wrong! First, I made a point questioning the provenance of the Bruce Pearl/espn post. Then, I mentioned in passing that there was a link on the espn site to Petrino's interest in KY, something that most SEC sports fans would find interesting. Clearly, reading comprehension is a skill that some folks don't develop past the grade-school level.
Here's your exact post. See if you can find where you talked about Pearl in there. Yeah, I didn't think so.
I'm not seeing this anywhere on the espn site. But, I am seeing that Petrino has expressed interest in the KY football job.
The conjunction But at the beginning of the second sentence clearly indicating that I'm introducing a different topic.
To anyone with the comprehension skills of a slug, the this part of my first sentence refers to the original post regarding Pearl/espn - as I said before, questioning the provenance of this little tidbit.
The second sentence is the one referring to Petrino. Separate sentences, separate thoughts.
You are right about one thing; You didn't think.
Clearly, any further grammatical explication would be lost on you, so that's it - I'm done with you.
I think this is perfect. BP spends a few years (Gottfried) on the air and becomes the guru personality. Then he is able to go back into coaching with a huge splash. You think Gottfried's time on the air hasn't helped him in recruiting? Four players in the top 100.

This would make sense.
If Gottfried wasn't hit with a show clause for three years.
Bruce's problem isn't coaching/recruiting.
He wouldn't have a problem getting a job once it's up. He would've earned enough goodwill back by then. If he didn't ruin his career after the Illinois situation, something like lying about a BBQ will not affect most teams.
There's only been one coach to get a D1 gig. Todd Bozeman.
Pearl might get a low mid major job, but that's it.
