Midmajors donā€™t understand sports really well. Their fan bases are small and they are poor
Somebody forgot to tell Tulsa they are supposed to be poor. With an endowment of $1.36 billion they dwarf the entire UT System. You should spread your wisdom to those "poor" Ivy League schools, .they'll be shocked to hear the news. At $1.5 billion, Tulsa only wishes it could be SMU. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

The game was 0 0 when Corral got hurt. So it's not like you were doing a whole lot there either.

It's also not like Corral was making a difference. Exactly what did he do while he was in the game? Nobody has explained what miraculous things he did.

You tied your second lowest point output of the season. 20 vs Kansas, 21 vs OK State and Ole Miss, so it's not like you dominated them offensively. You rushed for 90 yards more than their average, and passed for minus 190 their average, so you dominated them to 100 yards less than their defense typically gave up.

Why would you throw the ball with a QB playing his first game after suffering a hamstring pull when you can simply run over or around the Ole Miss defense? Especially when your backup QB is out with a season ending injury. This doesn't even make football sense.

You had one good play. Period. If you can take away one play, a mistake by the other team no less, and have a tied game, you didnt dominate them.

How do you take away one play? Franko Harris would be very upset if you took away his play against the Raiders where he scooped the ball up off of the heel of a Raider and scored the winning TD in a playoff game. That play has already been played and it's history. Is this like one of those "if my aunt had a penis she would be my uncle" things?
Things that make you scratch your head and go hmm. šŸ¤”

Two takeaways for me:

1. Why are there 26 teams instead of 25?

2. What jackass says ā€œWiscoā€ instead of Wisconsin?

Red herrings everywhere. I was commenting on your use of dominance. And I was pointing out all the ways you didnt dominate.

You won, not questioning that. But I wouldnt call relying on a 14 point swing in one play, dominance. Especially when it happened after their best player was gone. Dominating would be winning while looking good, which usually requires putting up a good bit more than your season low in points.

You said mid-majors were poor. You might want to ask Tulsa for a loan. God knows OU needs some of that money after Boren left them high and dry.
OT: University of Tulsa Athletic Dept budget cuts
so Tulsa makes as much money in a year in sports as we do in 2 home football games? Yea we really need a loan from them?

Schools like Tulsa and SMu and Baylor and North Texas that canā€™t even draw 50k to a football game and are very poor compared to the real programs are sad. Itā€™s almost embarrassing when you look at their small fanbases, midmajor conference tv contracts and attendance.

What would you call 10 sacks in a game (four of those sacks suffered by Corral in his very short time on the field)? How many times did Ole Miss give up 10 sacks last season? Abram Smith's 172 yards rushing happened to Ole Miss on the regular last season?

Lol you had 6 sacks against a walk on QB who didnā€™t play any meaningful time last season and are bragging about it. We had 5 sacks vs Corral too. And actually played them at full strength. And our QB and RB both had at 100 yds rushing. You really donā€™t watch actual football do you? You one of them bandwagon fans who think art briles is the best coach ever šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

The best you could do was 5 sacks in 4 quarters? I wouldn't be bragging about that. We got to him 4 times in 1 quarter. Sounds like somebody needs to step their game up. šŸ¤”

As far as Briles goes, why is Arkansas and Ole Miss running his offense. Even Alabama and Tennessee are running many of the elements of the Briles offense.

You should really keep up with modern college football and stop living on faded glory.

Step their game up? We play a real schedule and you are losing to TCU. You play in front of 40k people in a dying midmajor conference that no one wants to be in. Heck even the PAC 12 doesnā€™t want you and will eventually take okla state and Texas tech instead.

I know you are here because youā€™re upset that the SEC and others took the best teams in your conference three times now leaving you in CUSA basically, but donā€™t worry when Kansas goes to the Big Ten and the others go to the Pac12 you can rejoin the old SWC with Rice Houston and add UTSA too!

Briles is a joke degenerate which is why he canā€™t get a real job anywhere even a SWAC school šŸ˜‚

How's that "real" schedule working out for you? You couldn't even beat Ole Miss on your own turf. NY6 games...how many y'all been to this century? How many of those have you won?

Wait until Texas and OU join your conference and put you even further behind the SEC eight ball. Where y'all going to recruit? Will y'all even have the money to compete in recruiting? I think A&M's recruiting class answers both of those questions. The State of Tennessee doesn't have the talent or money to recruit with the big dogs so keep harping on your faded glory.

Lmao we have beaten more P5 opponents and ranked teams in the last 15 years (our worst in school history) than your team ever has. And bowl games, you really donā€™t want to compare when you havenā€™t even been to as many as Kentucky has. You are barely a .500 program who plays in front of 40k people in a religious nut job cow town in the middle of nowhere.

We just paid our new QB $8 million so we arenā€™t worried at all. Meanwhile you are still midmajor and poor praying that directional schools and Houston will save whatā€™s left of your pathetic tv contract. Texas and Oklahoma much like Mizzou, Colorado, Nebraska, Arkansas, A&M left your pathetic conference because literally no one wants to be in it. If Baylor had any draw or appeal at all one of the major conferences would want them.

And to say the state of TN doesnā€™t have talent shows how ignorant you truly are of sports. But Iā€™m guessing you are in your 20s and started following Baylor in 2015 or so lol

I call it Not domination.

Good defense, good offense. Being in control from start to finish is not dominance. You won. But I have seen many games with bigger score differentials that I wouldnt call dominance.

One other player ran for more than 170 yards against Ole Miss.

2 others ran for 150

5 others ran for more than 100 yards.

All twelve teams threw for more than 40 yards,

7 teams scored at least 21 points, including 5 of the teams they beat.

Also for this ā€œcenturyā€ as you bringing up which includes Tennesseeā€™s worst decade ever and Baylorā€™s best decade ever:

Tennessee is 163-125
Baylor is 142-140

And Tennessee actually played much harder schedules during this century as Baylor hasnā€™t scheduled a tough OOC team in 30 years and their conference is weaker too

Glad you brought up Missouri. Seems they won the first two SECe playoff spots and then ran out of players from the State of Texas.

As far as talent in the State of Tennessee goes in an average year y'all can probably compete with deep woods East Texas. How y'all gonna overcome D/FW and Houston? There's over 1,500 high schools that play football in Texas. You might want to rethink your statement.

Why would you go want to watch Oklahoma or Texas playing a SEC team? So weird. But then again you do obsess over your betters and real programs šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ your own message board admits your midmajor program is being left behind and whining about it

We recruit nationally and always have. I know that your backwoods religious cult school understands than it has to recruit with hookers, rapists, drugs and such because no one wants to live or come to Waco outside of Koreshā€™s followers but thereā€™s a reason Tennessee is know for producing nfl talent and elite players. But you do have those greats like mr Britney Griner and Robert griffin lol

Baylor still plays football?

Serious question.

Do they televise their games on ESPN 8 "The Ocho"?
You must have missed the Sugar Bowl. Were you too busy throwing batteries and water bottles at your own cheerleaders? If your aim was only good enough to hit Kiffin. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

James Franklin asks how that national recruiting is working out for you? I guess it worked well enough to get him a gig at Penn State.

I'll put Griffin's Heisman Trophy up against every Heisman that you have won. Deal??? It'll only cost you a hundred bucks.

Whatā€™s Franklin got to do with anything? Are you brain dead? And who cares about the heisman, lots of average players who couldnā€™t cut it have one it including Griffith.

Meanwhile Baylor continues to schedule more FCS teams in OOC than FBS teams and then still canā€™t win anything that matters

Better to throw bottles at refs than have your players murder each other during drug deals
