Andy Katz & Doug Gottlieb just gave us some major credit! They just said we are the 8th team out right now! We are in the next four out group! Andy went on to say he would take us over Xavier, Northwestern, Colorado St. which are team that are in right now! Doug said if we win one or two more we are in! Big win today! Cant wait till Friday! GO VOLS!

Gottlieb has been on the bandwagon for a while. And like everyone else he is a huge Stokes fan. Love all the good press the bb team is getting!!

You are exactly right, whenever Tennessee is mentioned over the next few days will only help us come Sunday!

CCM, the product, and the young men that make up this team are close to impossible not to like.

Don't let them kid you, ESPN hates us.

After we win two games in the tournament there will be a massive wave of ESPN pundits like Katz, Gottleib and others who will start saying we should not get in because we lost to Appy State in December.

ESPN will always hate us. Book it.:)

I must not have been watching much ESPN lately. Surprised to hear that Gottlieb said something positive about us and shocked to hear that it's been a trend.

Unfortunately these are not the guys who pick the teams. The green eye shade pencil neck geeks with their computers churning out the RPIs and SOS will determine our fate.

I can't figure out why the UT/Vandy game was not even mentioned on sports center. And I can't understand how Florida is rated so high. Two mysteries for me.

just said on espn at 8.52 am three announcers were talking about last four in first four out.and then one guy said that he believes that tennessee should be in ncaa tourney even though rpi was 81 i think and sos was 43. but they have four very good wins and have played as well as anyone the last 10 games. Also they will probally finish second in sec and that only kentucky in sec tourney wouldnt be worried about playing the vols in sec tourney.this according to doug gottlieb.. i agree with him but i hope the vols continue to play well and they either win sec tourney or lose a close game against uk in finals.GO VOLS.

If we could erase December we are a lock. Unfortunately UT had some really bad losses in a short time span. Oakland, APSU, and Charleston will ultimately do this team's NCAA chances in. They beat APSU and UT is in right now.

With that said, I think it is important to look at the big picture and it'is easy to see this team is trending the way you want them to. If they don't make the NCAA, it isn't the end of the world. Just having the conversation considering the way the season started is amazing in itself. Go Vols!

We win the SEC Tournament and we are in. Yes, a long shot for anyone to get by Kentucky, but it could happen.

Can you imagine the cussing that will go on by the #5 seed when they watch the NCAA selection show and find out that they are paired up against the #12 seeded Tennessee Vols in the first round? Not exactly the favorable match-up that the #5 seed would expect!

Here's who you want to lose...

Last Four In
Xavier
Northwestern
South Florida
Colorado State

First Four Out
Texas
VCU
Oregon
NC State

Next Four Out
Miami
Saint Joseph’s
Dayton

You could probably throw miss st and maybe even bama into that as well.

See I think if they do decide to take us we get a good seed. Jmo

I think somewhere 7-9, if we win 2 more games.

Seeding is primarily just who's the best, not rpi and Bpi and EKG etc...

So when picking the best teams I think we'd be a top 30 team, IMO top 20, but looking at big picture top 30 would be fair IMO. And that's around a 7/8 seed

Thanks for putting this together. Now I know who to root against.:salute:
