See I think if they do decide to take us we get a good seed. Jmo

I think somewhere 7-9, if we win 2 more games.

Seeding is primarily just who's the best, not rpi and Bpi and EKG etc...

So when picking the best teams I think we'd be a top 30 team, IMO top 20, but looking at big picture top 30 would be fair IMO. And that's around a 7/8 seed

I hope you are right about this, but I have my doubts. I don't believe one of the last 4 teams in (which I assume we will be if we get in) have ever been seeded as high as 7 - 9. The lowest seeded SEC team has been worse than that in the last several years.

Unless we win the SEC, I don't look for any seeding in the single digits.

I think with our 2 wins we hurdle just about everyone on that list, as they will lose and the few who don't our resume may be better than.

Add in the teams like bama and miss st could potentially get knocked out if the tournament and it opens the door for those single digit seeds.

I can guarantee one thing, if we are a 12, we will become the trendiest 12/5 upset this year.

After Kentucky defeats Florida today, we will be the #2 seed. To get in the tournament we might be fighting for the last spot with Mississippi State. The tournament is set up so that Georgia plays Mississippi State in the first round. Hope Georgia wins. If MSU wins, then we play them in the next round.

Currently, MSU has lost 5 of their last 7 games. With a loss to either Georgia or Tennessee, their end-of-year resume would stink.

Bingo!

and if it came down to a few spots left and they were picking between Miss St and Tennessee, the recent win over them would look good, as well as finish to the season.

Over the years the 12/5 I believe has had the most upsets. Sometimes 2 or 3 in a year. I would love to be a 12 seed. Right now Lunardi has Notre Dame, Florida, Vandy and Louisville as #5 seeds. Obviously the selection Nazi's are not going to pair two sec teams against each other in the first round, but we have beat FL. twice and Vandy, so that sort of shows it could be done.Like our chances.:clapping:
