Actually... That wouldn't be a terrible place for him to land. Having Melo and Amare would help open things up for him and with that thin roster, I could see him being a 6th man or so. It wouldn't surprise me if he saw minutes from day one with the Knicks.

A lot of people are going to be surprised at how Scotty adjusts to the NBA. I think he'll be one of those guys who goes under the radar and ends up a contributor on a good team. I see him as a CJ Miles type of player in the NBA, of course he'll need to get stronger as well.

Wish him well. I do think that the best situation for him will be in New Jersey. I think they need an athletic wing with a bit of a scorers mentality to play off of Deron Williams.

Your post is like a sandwich on my favorite bread, but with my least favorite meat in the middle.

I completely agree that Scotty will do well in the NBA, and I also think that he would thrive in NJ... That being said, CJ Miles is a hustle player who plays with 110% all the time. He is comfortable inside and out whether spotting up for 3, or banging on the boards. Scotty, IMO, is much more of a Nick Young type player. Instant offense, but not committed to playing good defense.
