That, and the stupid Boise 0-4 vs. the SEC argument. A game played six years ago when the two schools were completely different in terms of talent really has a reflection on tonight's game, Herbstreit.

Not to be a stick in the mud but it's not like they called him in just for this. The guy has his own show on an ESPN network.

I feel bad for Corso, he can hardly complete a sentence anymore.

The funny thing is that a good portion of our fanbase don't really like Pollack as a broadcaster either. They feel he doesn't stick up enough for our team and coaches. They also think he spreads wrong info about UGA at times.

Guys like him are in a lose-lose situation. If he picks UGA, well he's just a homer; if he picks against UGA, well not even Pollack the UGA homer believes in us. Think about Herbie, some call him a tOSU homer and he's also receiving death threats from tOSU fans. I still don't understand how that happens, but I guess it does happen.

I don't understand why some people get so upset when an individual states their opinion(s). Simply change the channel or just ignore it all together. Its not that big of a deal.

Kirk Herbstreit contributes good football information a lot of the time.

Pollack is a worthless waste of air who contributes nothing to any broadcast whatsoever.

Just curious UGA Insider whose upset? Tennessee fans on a Tennessee site making fun a an analyst on ESPN who's not really good at his job? OK. I guess some people need to visit different site or just ignore the thread all together. Its not that big of a deal.

Look at the Pollack threads. The majority of the posts says how terrible he is because he picked UGA over Boise. I'm not saying the guy is the best analyst in the business, but ESPN is willing to pay the man. Let the man do his thing and earn his money.

Pollack also was part of an afternoon radio show that was doing very well until ESPN came and snatched him up fulltime.

Personally I thought Pollack played the game with a lot of heart was a very good player for UGA, however, as an analyst, he seems like a younger version of Lou Holtz. Maybe some people like that and ESPN clearly likes guys like that(i.e. Jesse Palmer). As for this site, well Pollack clearly doesn't hide the fact that he hates all things Tennessee and I just think posters like to have fun with that. But hey, he could end up being a good one.

Agreed. I don't believe he will forced out but his contract will definitely not be renewed, at least for his current position.
