They didn't mention that we have a pretty mobile QB on our roster, but here is ESPN RC on Paysite:

Butch Jones will reportedly be named Tennessee's new head coach later today. And he will bring a different offense to Rocky Top.

The Volunteers were a wide open passing offense this past year, but it wasn't a true spread offense like Jones employs. The biggest difference is the usage of a dual-threat quarterback which incumbent signal caller Tyler Bray certainly isn't.

Bray, a junior, was reportedly considering his options and likely leaning towards entering the 2013 NFL Draft. It may be a foregone conclusion at this point.

Jones, meanwhile, will have to counter by acquiring talent that fits his system. Tennessee's current crop of quarterbacks are primarily pocket passers. Where Jones is accustomed to the links of Dan LeFevour, Zach Collaros and Munchie Legaux. Each was as dangerous running the football as they were throwing the pigskin.

Tennessee's staff -- once it's completed -- could go in a couple different directions to address the position. First, the team could try to flip Cincinnati commit Javon Harrison (Huber Heights, Ohio/Wayne) who they originally recruited.

Or, Tennessee could target the handful of dual-threat quarterback talents still available.

Asiantii Woulard (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park) is the nation's No. 1 dual threat quarterback. He recently decommitted from South Florida after Skip Holtz's dismissal. Tennessee may be a school of interest now that the school found its head coach. Darrell Richardson (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) and Brent Stockstill (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Siegel) are other options that have yet to commit to a program.

I like the dual threat option. It only makes sense. I know Riley is classified as a pocket passer but does anyone know if he can run? If not we probably just lost our QB recruit.

Go get Tee Martin as OC and let him recruit his man. He will have to beat out Peterman&Fergie though. I'm pumped up.

I believe Riley would be better suited elsewhere with this offense. I am glad we have Peterman. Peterman and Woullard battle in the fall.

I'd get Tee and Asiantii Woulard on the phone quick. Woulard wants to play in the SEC and I believe he wants to be a Vol.

Woulard's Dad in his thread:

"Still thinking AW would go UT but no contact since they said they were coming in town a few weeks ago."

"Congrats hopefully he contacts AW sooner than later AW is happy about the hire."

No.1 Duel Threat QB...hm...

I can't say I'd complain if (whoever makes up) the new staff were able to pull that off

Where was this? I believe you, I would just like to check it out.

Yep, Brian Kelly implemeted the exact same offense at ND that he ran at Cincy.

Oh wait, no he didn't. He went to a balanced run based offense, with a huge emphasis on defense.

But nd wld be in the cotton bowl but for the legs of their dual threat QB. Golson wasn't recruited to be Peyton manning.

Dual threat is old news, I want a quadruple threat QB, one who can run, pass, tackle and return punts. Other than that we are screwed.
