Has nothing to do with our recruiting classes - its just evidence of the abysmal state of our record over the last 3 years - and projecting it onto this year.

We've had one great recruiting class. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Yes by ranking yes we had one great recruiting class but by production we had two. Don't forget the 2013 class produced 2 all-american freshman. JRM and Vereen were apart of that class. 2013 may not been ranked high but they have field production.

Just look at our schedule - enough said

According to the methodology that is not a factor. The baseline is projecting how well the team would do against an average team on a neutral field. Example given was Illinois and FSU.

representing how much better the Seminoles would be against an average FBS opponent (someone like Illinois) on a neutral field

Why is it that K is always tougher than T expects? Wasn't it sometime in the early 2000's that that game went like ... 10 overtimes. It broke or almost broke the record for longest game etc... I'd have to look it up but I remember watching the highlights. Now they have a successful coach who is determined to get talent in and making what he has tough as nails on the field. It's going to be a tough game guys...just like the whole schedule. There's a whole lot of blue on this chart the last 20 years... Kentucky

Impossible to argue

Don't you wish. It is something this time of year intended to provoke an argument. There are two goals with these prediction and power ranking arguments and neither have anything to do with being accurate. One is to sell something. The other is to sell something later by keeping fans interested during the deadest part of the year for college football.

Meh, I think most realize how bad we have been for a while now. All these pre-season rankings seem to be based as much on past performance as anything.

I really expect to see improvements across the board this year so nowhere to go but up for us.
