I think his choice from outside would be Greg Madison so unless something happen in Bmore he will name Mcarthy DC, he has the resume and he's been at the hip with Charlie the last two season. After Bama we need to get tougher up front so his BIG 10 seasoning at Wisc make him a GREAT fit imo.

My brother is a Nole and he was hoping Jimbo would make a run at Mcarthy. He seems the logical choice for UF to me.

I was listening to a interview with Coach Thompson the other day, and he spoke highly about Lane but what a opportunity it was to get to work with Monte. Also how much he liked working the the LB's we have. This was on the Sports Animal last week, Thrusday or Friday.

If he's offered a legit DC position at UL, then he'll probably take it. I doubt he'd pick up and leave for a lateral or position coach + RC job. He'll leave us for a better job at some point sooner than later though as Monte and EO are at the top and there's just no place up for Thompson here.

Gran was a rent a coach from the get go. He gave us a great jump start into South FL but did not have strong ties to Kiffin and really had no reason to stay if a better option came up in terms of money and life style. He wasn't going to get promoted anytime soon here. We just had too many big time talented coaches to keep them all and keep them all happy.
