Can we stop the Peyton Manning worship now. This idiot has no business going to talk to Nicky Satan and his Anti-Christ son Kiffin. All Vols (past and present) need to focus their energies on defeating the red menace that is Alabama.
First this goof dumps on the Titans, now he is sticking it to his alma mater. When are Vols fans going to realize that Manning doesn't have any loyalty to anything Tennessee.

Tee Martin stays in Los Angeles and he's the enemy but Peyton turns down a job in TN and consults with TN most hated rival and it's cool. Interesting.

Boy this is a stretch..,,Tee acted a fool over the Hurd signing and USC had to issue an apology....even with that I still like Tee...,run that attempt to stir something up back in the garage and retool it cause that one flopped... Nice try though.,,

I guess you didn't know Nashville is part of Tennessee. They have a professional football team that some of us follow on Sunday. We don't follow whatever team Manning decides to play for. That is called a bandwagon.
I think it is pretty pathetic for someone to name their kid, or dog, or favorite farm animal after a Quarterback. Move on with your lives. Manning is the past.

Manning is a genius I tell you. He's gonna get Bammer put on probation! Once the NFL is through then the NCAA jumps in!!
:dance2::pepper:

violating the NFL's CBA would mean those involved actually covered by it - Manning and the Broncos - would be in trouble, not Bama...so yeah

Peyton has done more for UT than the entire Titans franchise. Being a Vol fan has no relation to being a Titans fan. By that token, are you a Vanderbilt fan? What about Memphis Grizzlies? What about a Chattanooga School of the Arts and Sciences fan??? Why don't you cheer for CSAS??? In-state traitor scum!!

Tee's no enemy of mine. I'm not sure he would have been a better WR coach or recruiting coordinator than Azzanni anyway. As for Peyton and the state of Tennessee, it's a good thing he's more professional than some of you are being about this. I like the guy as much as anyone, but for crying out loud, he was in the state of Tennessee for 4 years during college. That's it. He's spent far more than that in Louisiana growing up and in Indiana with the Colts and will have been in Colorado with the Broncos longer too by the time it's all said and done. I see this "Peyton should come home to Tennessee" business all the time, and I've never understood it. Home for Peyton is probably in Louisiana where he grew up. He has no loyalty to the Titans, and why should he? They didn't even move to Tennessee until his senior year. His connection with the state is the University of Tennessee, and that's really it. I'm a lifelong Tennesseean and damn proud of it, but Peyton isn't, and that's okay. It doesn't make him any less Vol.

The guy is on vacation. He's a grown man and he can go where he wants. He comes to Knoxville every year for workouts anyway, in case you'd forgotten.

I could care less what professional team he plays for...Peyton was playing football in TN before the Titans were...the only team that matters is in Knoxville...welcome to the ignore list...you've earned it

Seriously? I guess you have never left East Tennessee. I'll bet you married your sister. How many teeth do you have left?

Oh good...we've derailed the thread to debate fandoms about an NFL team in the state...next I take it we'll start arguing who is a "real fan?"

Hell, unless you live up in Mountain Brook or somewhere I'd say your teeth are more in danger in your current location than they would be in East Tennessee. :)

You are correct, I didn't notice your location; nor do I really care. Enjoy your Peyton Manning obsession. I will be looking forward and supporting Team 118.

So will Peyton. What with the locker room and other things he's provided the team.

How much have you donated to UT? Enough to have the locker room named after you? I am an alumni of UT and don't give two s#!+ about the Nashville Oilers.
