Most talent period comes from California by a large margin followed by Texas, Florida and Gaorgia..from there its a huge drop off simply because of population. texas and Cali alone put out as much D1 talent (in all sports) as almost the rest of the country combined.ESPN ranks northern and western talent much higher. 80% of the Top 5 and 70% of the Top 10 players are from non SEC states. That doesnt jibe with reality...
That is awesome. Thanks. Yeah overall looks pretty even.Here's the top 250 recruits for each service plotted on a map. The fill color for each state shows the total number of rankings per with blue being least and red being most. The pie charts show the number of rankings by service in that state. Overall it looks pretty even to me.
