ESPN the lost Network

Boca I agree with K-town. I know this is rare but clarification unless it is a misstatement.

I'm thinking companies like Nordstrom, Lululemon, Peloton, etc. Not saying black people don't buy from these companies, but what is the true reason for their large donations?

Appeasement? A false sense of security? The feeling that they are upholding their mission statement with the community regardless of how unvetted the organization is? Mob rule mentality?

Or it's proof you're just kinda butthurt that they are having and promoting opinions you don't agree with. I don't believe for a second those of you bellyaching about this would be saying a damn word if they were pushing opinions you agreed with, you'd be the ones talking about how it's their right to say what they are saying.

All this is about what it's always been about, the perspective you're looking at it from.
When I tune in for sports.... that’s what I’m tuning in for.... I don’t want to hear about some conservative political platform even if I do agree with it.... I don’t go to the stadium to hear a freaking campaign speech at halftime either. Leave the politics at the door bro

Yeah it can be annoying but im not about to quit watching football. Or basketball. Its okay for people to have different opinions
That’s true, but I’d really like to be able to escape all of the political BS we get relentlessly pounded with for three and a half hours or so while I drink a few and watch the game. Is that too much to ask?

Here you go

What makes it even more hilarious but the quote he attributed to Ben Franklin was from Facebook and not even a real Ben Franklin quote...... now we know the type of person that falls for facebook memes.

The opinions part though really isn’t their job. They should be discussing sports, and that’s it. They have an agenda that’s pretty clear now, and it’s going to bite them.

Sports overlap with the real world, politics, and social justice. This has been the case since at least Jesse Owens.

Most everybody was fine with sports being political when they agreed with the politics (flag worship). I was pretty sick of seeing families reunited with soldiers, which somehow makes us feel good about their service. It's a complete manipulation and nobody is making the point that the large majority of soldiers should not be separated from their families in the first place (unnecessary costly wars that we can't afford). I kept watching and mostly kept my mouth shut because I like sports. It's definitely gone too far the other way, but if you're just watching games and you're not a total nancy, you should be fine. If you're watching dumb talking head shows all day, turn the TV off.

Aww look at all the snowflakes melting. For a bunch who complain about others crying you all sure are whining like little kids over ESPN and what they choose to produce. Don't like it don't watch.

Snowflakes are the ones upset that people just dont GAF about the woke political agenda. No-one here is crying over ESPN. I was super happy when they quit carrying Nascar a few years back. We're all basically pointing at them and laughing at their stupidity.
