Let em keep dissing us…..fuel to the fire dudesMilton goes into the Orange Bowl beats Clemson and somehow comes out of that totally disrespected as the 3rd best SEC QB this season?!?!? They put the LSU and Arkansas QBs before him.
This team if it doesn't have one needs to have a boulder on it's shoulder after so few making 1st team SEC preseason.
This^ him watching a mature man take the reins for a year and add that mantra to his rapport as an already incredible athlete will pay dividends.
Two keys to Milton’s season (beyond the obvious accuracy concerns: 1) handle the pressure of road games in hostile environments (especially night games at Florida and Alabama) and 2) recognize situations that call for a scramble and don’t hesitate to do so. Run with authority
I am not as concerned with how he runs once he takes off as much as I am with him having that split second decisiveness to know when to pull it down and take off. Hendon just seemed to have that instinct and ability. If you hesitate at all, the gaps will close and you are left with either a sack or a decision to throw it awayThe more experience Nico gets the more Joe will get game plans to take more risk running the ball. Taking risks these last two years in mop up or when there is no real depth after HH went down is a bad basis for analysis of his desires or capabilities.
There are still folks selling the urban myth that he ran OOB to avoid contact but have yet to provide video evidence it ever happened. Give it a try. While doing so please notice that after his drop under duress he ran from the 30’s to the 8 before he took a high hit AT the sideline.
