not even close. In the last 25 years UT's bball teams have only been to 1 less bowl game than the Vandy fball teams.

Now that's a good way to judge a basketball coach. Who cares if he wins, it has to be exciting! I'd hate to be a Spurs fan and watch all those boring teams when Championships.

I agree with this. They know what is still out there and would have already let Pearl go if they needed to. If that were to happen, Hamilton would have to step down also.

We are very talented, but you can't just throw an orange blazer on someone and expect the players to win on talent.

And, I expect us to have a hard time keeping Jones and Ware if we switch coaches now.

That's the part that concerns me. Lehman Brothers fought to bail themselves out all the way to their last day. I think they announced a plan the day before they went under. This could also be Hamilton's attempt to save himself. I truly hope everything is already out there.

To be honest, I'd take that over being awful the last 5 seasons.

However, I'm not saying we have to go on probation to have any success. We just need to make a quality hire.

I don't know, but unless the sanctions are really, really bad and they hamper our ability to compete for the foreseeable future, I'd still take it. Lots of good memories over the last few years which I enjoyed.

Yeah, I enjoyed the hell out of the Elite 8 run...but if we get hit with serious sanctions I'm not going to be a happy camper.

That Bruce was doing what most if not every top program does. It also means we have the the most mentally retarded fanbase in America that acts like illegally taking a recruit to the coaches home is the end of the world.

Yes, clearly we know for sure that's all he's done so far....not. And yes, I'm looking at a worst-case scenario right now. If nothing more comes out of this and all he did was take a recruit to his house and use 5 more minutes of phone time - then I won't care.

As far as we've heard it's about excessive contact. To speculate further is gay.

Until we know for sure I have to assume that USC bought Taylor Mays an Audi.
