The list certainly wasn't about player efficiency as Rennia is a more efficient player that over half the players on that list. The stats seem to mean nothing to people making out these lists.

It's subjective...but leaving Rennia off and putting some of the others on is not the way I would have listed it.
Actually I love Rennia and Lady Vols but she should’ve been left off. Yes she had some exciting moments per se however; when it came too playing teams with players who are the same level or better she kinda disappeared. She has to stay active all 40 + minutes of the game she doesn’t. If you watched her match up with rhy Howard she could barely match her shot for shot not cause she couldn’t but she takes her self out offensively and defensively she can be lazy. She has the star power but will she use it to it’s capacity.?

Can't agree...Her "moments" were not at specific times, they did not associate with a particular instance...AND...those moments were considerably less than the prior year. SO she showed considerable growth in this respect.

Growth yes but not to a point where you fear guarding her... you have your opinion and I have mine she doesn’t fully trust her game and you can tell at moments where she disappeared.. She has evolved but if you really sit and look and break down her game you see where she becomes non existent. For them to win games and for people to really want to add her on the list she has to become more aggressive for the entire game.

I ain't arguing there, in another post I said "Rennia is coasting into greatness" She has more, but it takes the right words to get "that more"

As a coach I will recognize, and more importantly, acknowledge when i see it. Right now Rennia has Chamique-like ability but not Chamique-like fire.

This is not to fault her. I am a Rennia fan to the core. But I am also a coach and I see more in her. Just as you do!

I don’t think it’s so much the point Rennia shouldn’t have been left off but that Westbrook was included to what seems like just have a UConn player on the list.

So the question is should Rennia who had really good averages been left off the list for a player who didn’t even play last year🤔

I could take a team of kids left off (Rennia, Rickea,,,,) and whip the shiggity out of that team

Yes a player with her ability I can’t and want give a pass to because she can be as dominant as she wants. Yes it takes coaches to help nurture her raw talent. But accountability starts with self this last year can be magical for her and I have hope she will prove everyone wrong and hopefully this is the push she needs.

Now that’s the politics of the game I don’t think she should’ve been included. Should Westbrook be on a list of ones to look out for maybe . But to be honest I personally never cared for Westbrook’s game she over penetrates a lot and made some questionable fouls as well not continue to feed the hot hand while in control for the Vols

Well this is downright silly. And obviously based on perceived potential and not actual on-court performance. Otherwise not a million years does Westbrook make this list over Davis and Jackson.

I also like Evina, agree she has great potential, and am glad she's getting a chance to develop. Her's was one of many recent sad LV stories, and I'm happy for any of them who avoided the Jamie Nared Trail of Tears. However, what she's actually shown on court in no way merits this recognition and it does look suspiciously like Pleasin' Geno Porn.
What is the Jamie Nared trail of tears?

How about Chelsea Dungee? Destiny Slocum? Want something other than SEC flavor how about Janelle Bailey from UNC?

Again it doesn’t matter to me that Westbrook left it just doesn’t make sense because they put her on there when there were kids that actually played last year and impacted the game.

Now what they would have been smart to do is take the top 10 most likely impactful transfers and put her at the top of that list!

even based on potential she shouldn’t be put over Jackson.

Davis’ potential had been discussed to death and we saw her have a good season with room to improve last year

indeed 😂😂 I was never impressed now Rennia knows personally why I’m hard on her we both played for Coach Shelia so I saw her raw talent before Tennessee. She wasn’t named the best high school player from Florida for no reason. Westbrook is just okay to me nothing special when we lost her it didn’t hurt my feelings one bit

I think the injury to bailey plus the way NC played this year hindered her from making the list.

I love it! Raise the bar and level of expectations to meet the individual.

When she committed I love reading about how her coaches pushed her out of her comfort zone and made her play in the post some to make her game more diverse!

So you tell me. I don’t think Rennia is lazy but have seen multiple posts as such! Is she more of just a nonchalant person all around?

I love her game and thought she really came out of her shell last season but thought there was so much more in there.

She’s very humble really loves to be around close friends and family. Growing up where she’s from and the Ribault High school overall was very challenging it’s a very dangerous area. I played AAU for a team out Jacksonville so every summer I would play with Rennia and the lady Trojans high school team . I meet her as an incoming freshman and she had a high IQ on and off the court but she did like to shy away from her greatness at first. But coach Shelia is the type of coach that can spot rawness in a player and she has the athletic ability to become an absolute monster. She just has to feel safe in offense and defense to sprout. I watched her put up 38 pts in 2 quarters she has it.

Thank you so much for providing insight. Into her as a person and a player and I hope some of the people reading this can appreciate her a little more because I know we will miss her when she is gone.

As far as where she was brought up I hope people get why she may or may not be more reserved as those areas you sort of keep your head down and don’t say much because it can cost you! Some people won’t get that at all because they’ve been blessed to not have to experience such while others know exactly how it is.

Ribault is known for producing athletes that’s exactly why I ran with the squad when I went Jacksonville for the summer my first time there I was nervous because it was in a rough area. So she reserved because of that but to know her is pure joy she’s funny and a true friend. I just want everyone to see the true star she is she deserves every blessing that comes her way. But I need her to flip the switch on and don’t turn it off. Her and key being left of the respective list this season really should be the fire they need

Please let her know that true LV nation wants her to raise up and take over! I would love to see her average 20 at her percentage while still getting to the free throw line

careful throwing that word around
big difference in "lazy" and not reaching her full potential
huge diffference
