The ESPNU 150 Watch List for 2010 was updated Monday and Florida currently has six of its 15 verbal commitments on the list.

Here’s a look at some other schools and how they did in the updated 150.

Georgia: 6
LSU: 6
Tennessee: 2
Alabama: 5
Florida State: 4
Miami: 5
USC: 3
Texas: 11 (Leads the nation)
Oklahoma: 7
Ohio State: 2

How many in that top 150 do we have a legit shot at?

There's not even a 150 yet. There's just a watch list of names that might make the final 150.

Scroggins, Ambles, Prater, Riley, Bailey, Ferguson, Shembo, Stone----7 names off the top of my head that could make the nation's top-150 that have legitimate interest in the Vols.

It is funny that you're always saying this and that about UF. Maybe that poster was right about you?

I would expect around half of this class to be in contention for the final 150.

Copeland, Smith, Broussard and Fulton are four that could make it from our early verbals. It's such a long ways to go, that I couldn't throw any firm number.

1-2 WR's
3-4 DL
(Stone/Fulton/x) OL
QB
TE maybe
LB
1-2 safeties
RB maybe

I can easily see 12 in ESPNU's 150 at season's end. They could still have some JUCO 4-5* players and I don't think ESPNU includes junior college players in their rankings.

what are you talking about? I went to school at Tennessee and my childhood hero was Steve Alatorre. Do you even know who that is? I have a close friend that is a UF alum so I get a lot of their insider info sent to me from him. Is that a crime? Am I not a "real" Tennessee fan even though I am an alum? Grow up.

It's just old seeing stuff like, "Florida has this, Florida has that."

We know, it's almost like you're bragging. Not tryin to be a jerk, it's just old after a while.

how am I bragging? UF is where I want Tennessee to be. would you rather we aspire to Vanderbilt's status? they did have more wins last year.

GV182, UF is at the top of the heap and I am betting that if Rex had a friend at SO-CAL he would be putting up interesting facts on them as well to compare us to. Using your logic we will have a very cardboard and stale web site to come to every day. We need the FLAVA HOMEY!

Also, I don't care if people post about UF, but when it's constantly praising them it's gets old. Why do you think everyone hates seeing Tebow on TV? Answer = It's old.

:). I sure didnt get tired of seeing Peyton on TV when he was on the Hill. I cant wait for the day that people talk about seeing the Vols win is "old". That day is coming, book it.

2 National Championships in 3 years...we better get used to it...atleast till they've been dethroned. Rex isn't praising UF, just stating what he thinks/knows. I don't think Tebow is the savior like everyone else does...I just think that speed kills, and right now, UF is deadly. But, you should know that...you play NCAA 09.

I thought the same as 182 on this. We know what Florida is doing. If we wanted further information we'd go to a Florida board. I don't want to be constantly reminded that we are behind Florida right now. I already know that. Threads like this one and the Rich get Richer thread have no place in a Vols recruiting forum. JMO.

Agreed, and IMO Rex goes way overboard with it. It comes across as a mancrush.
