Let me ask for some opinions on T.J. Cromer. Do any of you all think he has a chance at making an NBA roster? Either drafted or as an UDFA? I think back to Courtney Pigram a few years ago who many thought was going to make an NBA roster but he never did & has played in Europe ever since. Cromer has an inside & outside game & can hit some really contested 3 pt. shots.

He's listed as 6'3" but probably closer to 6'2". He can handle with both hands & can see the floor so well. Only gripe I have with him is forcing shots but he had to do that sometimes to get the Bucs out of jams. He's definitely the best player ETSU has had since Courtney Pigram & he might be better than Pigram because of his handling with both hands so well.

He will get a shot at the NBA I'm sure. I think he can make a roster that needs a player type like him. There's quite a few that I can think of right off the top of my head. He probably would never become more than a role player but that's good enough for me & I bet for him as well. Or, he can do as many others & go to Europe to play & make a lot more money. Thanks!

It was 49-24 at halftime. Lethal Weapon 3 didn't play much at all in the 2nd half. Yeah, they did almost beat Oklahoma with Mookie Blaylock and Stacey King in '89 under Robinson and did beat Arizona in '92 under LeForce (got killed by the Fab 5, though). I just didn't like them because of how much junk my friends were talking back then and how awful we were. If Les Robinson had stayed, they could have become a real force at the mid-major level. They really fizzled out after '93. Les was great at finding late bloomers and diamonds in the rough. Greg Dennis was another.

I was at the Michigan game in 92 and ETSU didn't get killed. I believe the final was 102-90 and if Talford had made a few of his shots the Bucs would have won.

Calvin Talford won the NCAA slam dunk competition. Awesome YouTube video. Both he and Rodney English played for the Globetrotters.

If you were at the game then maybe you remember that Michigan jumped all over them in the first half and had a 54-34 lead at halftime. Just like the Georgia Tech game in '90, they made a late run when some starters came out but it was a blowout. You guys are really sensitive about that aren't you? They did well for the small program they are but those were not competitive games.

However, since then they have also given Wake Forest (2003) and Cincinnati (2004) fits in the tournament. They really should have beaten Wake.

Personally, Talford was the best leaper I ever seen. He had a 40" vertical in which he could grab a nickel off the top of the backboard at 6'5" tall. English was the better overall player than Talford but Talford was more athletic.
