I've got a buddy of mine that is a marine. (Got out of marines, joined army as a ranger) has a bunch of good stories about going to jail overseas.

Once officers realized who I was, i was usually let go. I didn't always tell them. I screwed up, I deserved what I got.

True story... Carlie a tough guy during high school days, always fighting someone. After high school, he continued his fighting/drinking ways and got into a gun fight with the law. Went to prison for several years and was released. No one would come around this guy when they saw him around or in a bar... gave him a wide path.

Welp... here I am at a beer drinking party at a campfire in the bush and low and behold here comes Carlie. I had a few too many I guess (or was just inquisitive)... and asked Carlie if it was really bad being in prison. Another fight broke out... until he was pulled off of me.

Anyway... I think prison might be the real deal.
