Why is it that whenever we get inside the TOP Five - WE LOSE?!!!!!!

It always seems SO CLOSE! - But, then SO FAR — And SO FRUSTRATING! — $#!+!!!!!

I don’t expect that anyone is gonna “LIKE” this post — BUT IT’S TRUE!

BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, SOFTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, SWIMMING & DIVING, TRACK & FIELD, GOLF, TENNIS, ROWING…..

We seem to KICK-ASS IN A LOT of sports - But, we can NEVER just get “OVER-THE-HUMP”!!!!!

ALWAYS A BRIDE’S-MAID, BUT NEVER THE BRIDE……

Guess we shouldn’t complain to be TOP FIVE (in most of these sports)— MAYBE AD DANNY WHITE can help to CHANGE some of this Disappointing CRAP!…

I think this is a very disingenuous take. Sure, knee jerk response and probably should have waited 24 hours to rethink before spewing frustration on the internet. But, it’s not “just sports.”

Yeah it is “just sports”. Its a game. If his life revolves around “just sports” so much that he’s gonna give himself a stroke because his teams lose games, then he probably needs to reevaluate his life.

I love me some UT sports, but I don’t push myself to the edge of a stroke just because they lost. At the end of the day, its “just sports”

That was hilarious! I give you props for one helluva rant, that’s for sure! It was hours after the game too so you stewed on that one a good while. Anyway, I’d argue White, Boyd, and others have been changing the disappointing crap. That’s why we’re in the top 5 in the big 3 sports, allowing for your rant. Trust the folks that have gotten us this far and keep in mind National Championships don’t exactly come easy. In men’s football, baseball and basketball combined we have 1 NC in the last 70 years. I get the frustration on some level but putting our success in perspective is also important. We strive for perfection and settle for excellence.

Tennessee is frustratingly inconsistent. I can easily see them being a 3 seed, and losing in the 1st round to a 14.
