Exactly how lame is the NIT?

I expect the Gators to really search the state of Tennessee for 'game breaker' b-ball players again.:)

Between Memphis and an upstart Tennessee program, not to mention nearby and resurgent Kentucky, Florida's odds of landing top notch talent out of Tennessee are dimmer than years past.

Back to the NIT, I suppose the pay-out the teams receive would be worth the trip.

I agree they gave up a lot of leads. That's a function of lack of depth and lack of experience, two things that hopefully another 7 months will help with.

As to "losing mentality," I don't think that's the issue. They won three to get where they were and responded well to Donoovan's efforts to get them out of their "sense of entitlement" funk.
giving up a lot of substantial leads over time builds in a natural tension. Players start looking over their shoulders wondering when the comeback is going to start.

I'm not calling it a weakness, but I can think of a certain Orange and White crew that has a bit of that in them today.
