I was glancing through CatsPause, and I found this gem of a thread from a poster with over 10,000 posts. I'm sure UK will be better, but give me a break.

Will UK Lose a Game???

They look so dominating on offense, I can't see any team on their schedule beating this bunch.

We look better on offense than them. IMO
We are playing unselfish ball and it helps with the 3 ball. If we dont hit rock bottom, I can see us beating them... GO VOLS!!!

Yes, because they are so good, they beat Miami (ohio). Anybody who can get by that powerhouse program is a badazz in my book.

Its UK. They remain the same year in year out. Regardless of record. :post-4-1090547912:

I think about 95% of their schedule consists of teams better than RIder if they don't think anyone on their schedule can beat them. Ofcourse Miss St. is part of the 10%...

I mean, there are so many undefeated teams every year...why not? John Wall is going to lead them to the promise land and Cal will finish by leading them to the mountain top.

Well for everyone comparing John Wall to Derrick Rose. In Rose's first 11 games. He led Memphis to victories against...

Oklahoma - 3rd game of the season
UCONN - 4th
USC - 7th
#4 Georgetown - 10th
#18 Arizona - 11th

All double digit victories and a 27.. I mean 26-0 start. We'll see how Wall is able to perform against UK's non-conference foes over the next month

I married into a UK family.

Luckily her family is in the 1 and 2% of tolerable Wildcat fans.

I'm not sure where all of the supreme confidence comes from that we can/will beat UK this year.

We couldn't beat them last year with Clyde.

They have a ridiculously talented team, and a better coach at the helm.

We are a senior laden team, and if we were to play them right now, I would like our chances. However, the more they play, the more cohesive they become, the more difficult our task will be.

That being said, I would absolutely love to sweep them.

I have very little confidence that we will sweep them. I am just hoping to split. I just despise the UK fans that act like they are just unbeatable this year based on some of non-conference games; two of which they have struggled to win.

Not the same systerm, coach. The slower run, efficient driven team that Clyde had was a nightmare for us last year. And Louisville, too.

Someone who knows more give me your impression of Wall. I know he's very talented, but he doesn't have the body to do what Derrick Rose did, and he doesn't seem to have the mentality to do what Chris Paul did. I just don't get that vibe from him. I find it hard to believe he's going to live up to the hype.

He just has it. Hard to explain what IT is, but he has it. Not just the athletic ability, but all the little intangibles. He is smarter than Derrick Rose, but not as strong. I guess you could say he is a great player, but him being a great player doesn't mean UK will be great.

Right I get that. He seems like a guy who will put up 15 and 5 every night. But He doesn't strike me as a guy who will take the game over at the end like Paul or Rose or Deron Williams did. Rose would just charge in and careen off of people to get to the hole, and Paul has that crazy first step and vision. I don't see Wall having that kind of athletic ability.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Wall cant shoot outside very well at all but he has a very quick first step and a real nice mid range jumper he is a stud and will go pro next year along with Cousins but he definatly has IT.

Catpause is pure trash! That website is pure ignorance at it's finest. They absolutely hate Tennessee and give them zero respect. It is funny to hear them talk about UTs defense when everyone that goes to Rupp lights it up from behind the arc and these pansy teams score high amounts of points.
