Example of Why I hate Most UK fans

Right I get that. He seems like a guy who will put up 15 and 5 every night. But He doesn't strike me as a guy who will take the game over at the end like Paul or Rose or Deron Williams did. Rose would just charge in and careen off of people to get to the hole, and Paul has that crazy first step and vision. I don't see Wall having that kind of athletic ability.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Well, um, John Wall did take the ball full-court, tie game, with six seconds to go, and drained a 12 ft. step back jumper in his first collegiate game. That's not taking complete control of the end of the game, but still that shows his confidence. He does have that IT factor, you can just tell when he plays. And while Wall isn't complete with the outside shot, it looks good and he just needs consistency with it.

sorry UK fans, but you allowed Sam Houston State to score 92 points. I think it's fair to say you'll lose atleast one game..lol

I am a UK fan,but old enough to know the Wildcats have potentional, thats all and are currently overated. Commonsense would dictate UT to be the favorite to win the conference, wait and see.

Yep.

All kidding aside, from an unbiased point of view and not the blue goggles... this kid is absolutely amazing. Whether he played for FIU or UK, he is the lottery pick that everyone say's he is. Thats not to say he won't have bad games, all of the above you mentioned had bad games. However, the kid is a once in a ____(insert your own word here) talent.

Wall is absolutley amazing no doubt he and Cousins will probably be one and dones but Wall is flat out the most athletic guy on the floor in any games he plays this year but he is a freshman and can get rattled but I don't think he can lead UK to a national title.JMO....

Just please note that I didn't go there, you did. :) I'm not convinced this team is a strong title contender either. However, I like to reserve judgments such as that for late February. And that goes for ALL teams.

Its to early to tell, with all that talent UK has they could all start playing together and then they would no doubt be the team to beat this year.

The will be very good this year. However, their fans are completely unrealistic. They will lose some games and very few freshmen oriented teams are better than senior dominated teams if the talent is anywhere near equal.

Yeah, they looked pretty dominating against the juggernaut of Miami of Ohio the other night. After they won that game, every team in the country should have just forfeited the rest of their season because there is no way UK can be stopped.

I was glancing through CatsPause, and I found this gem of a thread from a poster with over 10,000 posts. I'm sure UK will be better, but give me a break.

Will UK Lose a Game???

They look so dominating on offense, I can't see any team on their schedule beating this bunch.

Kentucky basketball fans are just like Alabama football fans. They think it is their divine right to rule the college basketball world.

You are right on target. Wonder what kind of reaction they will have when they lose---too young, but wait till next year?

I think in Calipari, UK fans see the second coming of Pitino the way in which he's already hauled in all that talent. But Calipari will never be the restaurant Romeo like Pitino is. :)
