Most would agree that he's better than Dooley (despite last years beating).

There is also no evidence to support the idea that he's gonna consistently be able to pull the same or comparable players that Bama, LSU, UGA, and UF get. If he is unable to do this his ceiling will be around 8 games.

He will win more football games than Dooley IMO. But I don't see him winning championships here.

Bottom line, Jones is a winner. I don't care what level you coach, you're either a winner or you're not. Dooley never was. Jones has coaches for 6 years and won his conference championship 4 of those years. I think we just made a great hire!

This is exactly right. To actually win championships means something. High school, little league, Big East conference. Whatever. Doesn't matter. To win a championship infects you, and it takes a winner to do it. It takes a loser to belittle the wins. Butch Jones is a winner and we will find out if that translates into wins as a Vol.

If he can keep this class above 25 he's got a good chance. I think fans want it proved on the field now. Just going to be very negative on this site until he proves he's for real. I CBJ knows and expects it to be this way.
