If Ainge does not play a snap, he will be missed but Crompton makes this game all the more exiting. Lets do like Fla Crompton for hypesman...........lol:dance2:
We will see him for sure. Probly for half the game. Tough, tough circumstance to cut your teeth at qb. But I won't presume to know how he will perform. Let's give the kid a shot.
Crompton may be a great QB..but you're first significant playing time against a mean D like LSU's? He may be able to do it (if asked to)....but I would have to think that there is a much greater chance that he would fail.
Strategy. Guys, it's strategy. Yes, Ainge may be gimpy. Yes, Crompton might get ample playing time to help out. But, CPF is not going to give LSU the edge on preparing their D. They'll know what they've got to face come game time.
I don't know if it is strategy or not. I think they've been saying a lot, which to me means that it may be some strategy. BUT...it doesn't change the fact that he did have a high ankle sprain. Our screen game took off last week IMO...but can we now risk Ainge taking hits by releasing the D-line on him on screens? Maybe bubble screens...but not full-out release the D-line dogs screens. I think Ainge will start. He'll probably float a few high passes at first and settle down after a few...but...when he takes that first big hit...will he get up and throw an interception (enter JC) or will he pop up and feed it to them? We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
