This is a self-serving comment as an original season ticket holder still in the South Upper Deck. I hope the expansion White is referring to is the long-planned renovation of the South part of the stadium - wider concourses, restrooms, and concessions, i.e., implementation of the rest of plan for which the just-completed expansion is a part. Not more seats but better facilities. I was impressed with the Upper East Deck of Tiger stadium for size of concourses and numbers of bathrooms.

I’ve been saying it for a long time now! Tear out all the seats that way you make sure everybody stands! Pack them in there like sardines and you probably get another 20 thou easy!

Unpopular opinion, but I would rather have a much-improved (and comfortable) 80,000 seat stadium than a cramped, miserable 100,000 seat stadium. I never have understood the d*** measuring capacity contest.

I find it interesting that we talk about expansion on the first year that we have actually reduced seating.
