I believe we need another this year, if Bray decided to leave or next year, geez Nance could decide to leave, what options do we have left, 1 quality backup in Worley, and some unknown, unproven LA Tech transfer, we need another.

yes, because if Simms somehow gets Swine Flu, Bray gets blown away by a tornado, and Nance gets his right arm cut off, then we would certainly be screwed. I say we sign at least 5 QBs in this class, just to be safe. It's a dangerous world out there

No way in hell you take another QB in this class unless it is some unforseen elite 5* type guy that comes out of heaven.

Tennessee has so many needs across the board that you dont take another QB in this class just in case Nance gets swine flu or Bray gets swept up in a tornado.

Why would Bray leave right now? He's lined up to be the starter possibly next year and definitely his Jr season.

There is talk like he might be transferring back to the west coast, If he waits till JR year it will be the same thing happening this year.

Wasnt their a rumor started a few weeks ago that his parents were going to move back to Cali so their youngest son could go to high school out there because he didnt like it here?

Yes there was a rumor. I most def want him to stay and lead this team, if so there no need to get an extra QB

If Bray can't beat out Simms by next year, I don't care if he transfers. I think Bray will be the man by the end of this year then it will be a competition between him and Worley. Simms is just a warm body at this point. Nothing against Matt I hope he does well but I just don't see it.

Is there any other game film of Worley beside youtube and the game he played recently. Maybe I am missing something about his ability

His mom and brother moved back to Cali, his dad is here and loving it here

So is there any truth to the rumor of him possibly tranfer to a west coast school because of his dads impatient behavior and wanting to move back home.

From all the accounts I've heard his dad understands why they aren't rushing Bray on the field. I would think his dad would be more upset if they jeopardized his son's long term success by throwing him on the field too soon and risking injury.

I previously worked with Jeff Bray and it is true that the family is moving back to cali but as far as Tyler goes there was no mention of him leaving tifwiw

I have seen Worley play a couple weeks ago when his team was on TV. He had a great game, but i'm not convienced he is better than Bray. In fact I think Bray is a little better IMO.

Worley didn't seem to set his feet that well in his game from what I saw. He was kinda throwing it off balance. He had a good game, but he will need to fix that to compete in the SEC.

Sounds like the QB in my area, doesn't plant his feet before he throws, could be a decent QB if he people working with him, but doesn't.
