Coach Cals time will come and kentucky will be the one to suffer. Even Bob Knight thinks the man is scum.

As much as I respect Bobby Knight, I don't much care for that opinion(If he even made that statement). Sure, Coach Cal is a douche. But, he's never had his pay reduced for committing major NCAA violations. As a matter of fact, I think some of the NCAA reports from UMass and Memphis have cleared him of any wrongdoing.

Knight did say that. He said it either prior to the 2009-10 season or very early in it.

I can't argue with the fact that Pearl, not Calipari, has been caught lying to the NCAA, but your last sentence makes you sound like a delusional fan of Calipari and/or UK, or you just hate Pearl. Do you honestly think Calipari runs clean programs and has just been at the wrong place at the wrong time a couple of times? Some of us used to want to believe that Bruce was running everything by the book, which was as foolish as it is to buy into the notion that Calipari knew nothing of what was going on at either UMass or Memphis.

Heh, didn't know.

I hate Kentucky, and I hate Calipari more, but I don't believe him to be the scourge of the Earth. I do believe he did commit major violations at Memphis and UMass, but, he's never been caught, or implicated doing so in any NCAA investigation.

I love what Bruce Pearl's done here at Tennessee, but I do get sick of the "well, Coach Pearl is just a good guy and Cal is a scumbag" attitude that permeates through some of the posters here(not calling you out or anything like that, just making a point)

I'm laughing at how many people answered "Fact" or "True" to number 9. The chances of him averaging exactly 8 points and 9 rebounds is EXTREMELY small. I must be in a semantics mood today, but it should have been listed as with "averaging at least" 8 points and 9 boards.

As to the Calapari discussion - he made sure that his name was cleared in both investigations. The only issue that I have is that when it happens twice, you have to start questioning the culture he creates/allows or the cast of characters that follows him.

I know. That's why I at least acknowledged that I must be in a mood today. I just thought the question was out of place as worded from the first time I read it. I guess that's what thesis writing does to me...I take everything a little too literally right now :).
