Fail Georgia, Fail LSU, Fail South Carolina

LSU will be losing 3-5 games this year and it doesn't matter who the coach is.

Probably the hardest schedule I have ever seen plus young team plus 2 defensive coordinators in 3 years.

6 or more losses = Les is in trouble
5 losses = ok year, Les on hot seat
4 losses = good year
less than 4 losses = great year
less than 3 losses = super great year

My guess 4 losses (3 SEC/ 1 non-conference), who knows, should be an interesting year.

LSU won't have the talent development from the 2009/2010 and the 2011 classes until around 2012 IMHO.

If LSU had gone through what UT has in the last 2 years, they would be hurting. Why are they so down on talent? They have recruited well. Sounds like Miles just sucks at developing these kids.

They got the best corner in the league in Peterson & they got weapons all over the field.

If I was a LSU fan I would be extremely irked at 4 Ls, I mean I can understand it, the SEC west is loaded with pitfalls but I would surprised if LSU loses 4 games

revised: they moved Eugene to safety

I want Richt to stay right where he is. As stated earlier, SC won't fire the Ole Balls coach. Les could be headed out though. If LSU has a bad season they could fire him. Also a possibility Michigan hires him away from LSU.

Overrated 2007-2008 classes... quite a few are no longer with the team, heck we have already lost quite a few from the 2009 class. Guys are gone, there was no left to develop.

2009 class should be ok, 2010 class is good and the 2011 class will be great IMHO. The only position I see going forward as a problem in 2012-2014 is QB.... going to be hurting at QB for unless something changes.

Sorry, 2 losses is unrealistic. To many redshirt freshmen, freshmen, and sophomores on the field plus one of the hardest schedules I have ever seen = not going to happen.

Peterson is the real deal though.

I regretfully inform you guys that if Georgia has a terrible year and CMR were to get fired. You guys still would not get Drew or Crowell. Drew would more than likely go to FSU or Auburn and Crowell would go to Alabama. Since when was Tennessee ever in the running for Crowell to begin with?

I am not trying to stir the pot but you have to be realistic. That would be like me saying Georgia has a real shot at Clowney. I do believe you guys could make a push for players like Wright, AJ Johnson or Avery Walls. I actually think you guys have a real good shot with all 3 of those guys even though I think Wright may be leaning towards Auburn.

UGA is UGA. It will pull it's fair share of prospects because the university has an appeal to certain players. It really doesn't matter though because we always seem to destroy UGA even when they have superior talent.

I guess I could have shortened that to 45-19. :eek:lol:

And after 3 out of the last 4 you all are still down to 4-6 for the last 10. I can't wait for your team to come to Athens this year because all that really matters is this year.

If any one of these teams fail this season, or, better yet, a combination of them have lackluster seasons they are very likely towards coaching changes would could present us with a great opportunity to raid some quality players late in the game.

Georgia especially is something to watch closely. Our recruiting in that state has become a top priority and Richt hitting the road could mean great things in terms of Drew, Crowell, etc....

All of this is contingent on us making some surprising strides forward this season and showing recruits that we are headed back on the up and up.

Should be a fun season to watch on many different levels when thinking of all the recruiting story lines and implications.

Can't wait!

None of those coaches are going anywhere unless Spurrier decides to call it a career and retire.

I love the optimism but the truth is Tennessee is falling apart. The AD was grasping for straws by going after Dooley because no one else wanted to come there. Then after all the off season drama. Your losing players like the plague has set up shop in Knoxville. The first 8 games you guys play

Oregon
Florida
LSU
Georgia
Bama
USCe

With the last 4 all in a row and 3 of them away games and Bama at home........you guys are definitely headed for 2-6. Hell UAB may be able to compete with you.

All 3 of those coaches are clearly under the gun. For once we are not the ones being looked at for a coaching change. Glad to see that the traditions are being restored here too. GO VOLS!
The only one that might be in trouble is Miles, and I'm not even real sure about that.

Spurrier can stay in Columbia as long as he wants.

Richt is at least 1-2 more mediocre seasons away from legitimately being on the hot seat. He's kind of like Fulmer circa 2003 when some had started griping, but nobody really took it seriously.

It's still Tennessee. We aren't out of any game and nobody can change my mind on that thought.
