Basically what they said, hell has frozen over - I am applauding Fox.

Not a 'whacko liberal' either, but I do enjoy being independently minded rather than force fed redneck garb.

Also, Tums - I lived in the Spokane area for 8 years and still noticed a much higher concentration of liberals than conservatives.

I'm sorry for what I bolded. I have been here over 27, hate it so much. It's def more conservative that Seattle. Who was the last representative from here that wasn't conservative? Also, "force redneck garb", very mature. You obviously don't watch (I, not so much, but I listen to everything). I would love to hear what you call MSNBC, because let's face it, as far as agenda goes MSNBC has Fox beat hands down.

I don't like MSNBC either, it's the same crap from the other agenda. I typically stick with CNN to get the true story, but I know they're not perfect either.

lol at people who think that any news organization tells the true story.:lolabove: CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC= all owned by corporations. Guess we should remember that the corporations that control everyting(including politics) have our best interests in mind. They are all slanted in their own way to feed us bs and control the masses, it works quite well. Gotta keep the sheep divided and fighting.:good!:

I watch Fox daily and will say it is the best news show period! This is just icing on the cake for me!

Compared to the rest of the national media, they're right wing. Compared to the political center of the country... they are the most mainstream of the news networks.

Fox's straight news is the most balanced of any of them.

Their opinion shows make no bones about their bias. I greatly prefer that to those who try to pretend to be unbiased while using the editorial process to tilt the news- that would be CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS. What they're doing amounts to nothing less than propagandizing.

While I disagree with the opinions on MSNBC for the most part, they're at least honest enough to not pretend to be unbiased.

ALL news is biased. If they do not engage in bias in the way they report, they most certainly do in WHAT they report.

Bush was excoriated for Katrina. Obama still hasn't responded to the Nashville flooding... but not a peep from his fans in the supposed mainstream media.

Remember the daily body counts from the Middle East when Bush was in office? Where did those go? Remember the questions of Bush's "gravitas"? They're just now beginning to question Obama's response to the oil spill after 53 days.

The greatest bias isn't how things are reported... it is in what the editors choose to report.
