Hey a Cal game trip sounds like fun! Truth be told, I'd probably prefer somethign when the weather is a little cooler. Make it an adventure for me. Think I can find tix to something say around late October? How tough is it to get a hotel room up that way on fairly short notice?

Hard to get a room in Knoxville, but you can find one in Pigeon Forge, or on the east end of Knox off of the interstate.

After an up-and-down offseason, Florida will open football training camp Sunday without a major injury on its roster.

Gators coach Urban Meyer said all UF's football players will be healthy enough to practice this week, and the large majority will do so without limits.

"That's a real credit to our training staff," Meyer said. "They did a great job, and everybody should be good to go."

Meyer said knee injuries to Jon Demps, Ray McDonald and Reggie Nelson have healed, that Andre Caldwell is back to full speed after breaking his leg last September. Kestahn Moore's back is better, as is Marcus Thomas' back and abdomen.

The exceptions are true freshmen defensive tackle Terron Sanders and cornerback Wondy Pierre-Louis, both of whom underwent knee scopes earlier this summer. Jim Tartt, a candidate to start on the offensive line, will be watched closely as well after undergoing shoulder surgery in April. All three will practice, Meyer said.

The first six days of UF practice are open to the public. Each workout will be held at the practice field located near the O'Connell Center and McKethan Stadium. Fans are not allowed to bring video cameras to the sessions. Here's a breakdown of week No. 1:

Sunday, Aug. 6

2:50 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (freshmen only); 8:05 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. (non-freshmen)

Monday, Aug. 7

6 a.m. - 7:25 a.m. (freshmen only); 4:40 p.m. - 6:20 p.m. (non-freshmen)

Tuesday, Aug. 8 - Friday, Aug. 11

4:40 p.m. - 6:40 p.m. (full squad)

Getting back to the Gators no injury problem. That will all change when Chris Leak starts running over there LB's the way Travis Stephens did. Just give him one full contact scrimmage running the Urban Meyer option.

I'll give Lawgator a dollar if he goes to a nonvol gator game and wears a gator shirt, and leaves a gator flag flying on his most expensive car while he watches the game.

I think you got it backwards. You mean a UT game not involving Florida, right? Like go to UT-bama and wear the orange and blue? Thinking being that I am a true a-hole fan because, not only am I waiving around a lot of Gator stuff but I am also doing it where no Gator has a right to be?

Tempting. I could always use one more dollar.

Will you also pay the medical bills and to get my car repaired?

It would be better if you went to a UT-UGA game. That way you would have two rivals to scream at you.
