My family's prayers go out to that family. That is terrible news on an otherwise great afternoon.

Technically or officially? I consider mid-30s elderly.

Crap guess this means I should go ahead and put in for a retirement home while I'm still at 20 since I only have 10 years of youth left. Haha :birgits_giggle:

Damn, what's up with THAT? Who all is lawyerin' up? Double damn!

Two yrs ago, loftons senior year I was at the auburn game and I was leaving the floor and fell severely breaking my ankle and tearing the ligaments, it shattered my ankle bone and the fragments were logged in my ankle joint. With that being said I had over 12,000 dollars in med. bills and wasn't able to work for almost a year. I had just started at my new job and didn't have insurance yet. Needless to say lost my job and couldn't afford the bills, I ask UT if they could help and of course said no. It happened right in front of M.H. And they just sent me a letter sat. That they were going to dismiss my claim. I've been a Vol fan my whole life and have spent a ton of money going to games buying apparel but I hurt myself inside their building and won't even help out with just my doctor bills. So good luck to anyone lawyerring up , let me know how it goes for you.
I still love and support the Big Orange always!

why would they help with your bills if they weren't negligent? If they were then a lawyer should have gotten you enough to cover it

I'm not sure I would enjoy attending another game at TBA if something like this would happen at my seats.

like a few have said, the floors were crazy slick. we were in 309 and i found myself thinking several times "i can't believe how slick this is. i hope i don't bite it at some point" hate to hear that he passed away. certainly hope the slick floors had nothing to do with it.

How Awful!
Puts our priorities into perspective doesn't it.
Condolences to his friends, family & fellow UT Fans..... Life's just too derned short.
Unfortunately, this is not uncommon at all. My husband suffered his 1st heart attack 2 years ago @ the ripe "Old Age" of 36. It's all in the genes for the most part add a bad diet to it.... disaster laying in wait.

GO CATS!
Ms.Cats~
