My solution would be to put a couple of rounds in his head right behind the ear before he multiplies.

Rubbers are for woosies.

The lawsuit said Campeau-Laurion, who lives in Queens, and a friend “enjoyed the game quietly,” though there were rowdy young men seated a few rows away. After buying a second beer an hour after his first, Campeau-Laurion remained in his seat, eating peanuts and watching the game, it said.

An hour between beers... while watching a sporting event?

I call bulls!#t...

The most anybody goes between beers if you are watching the game at home or even waiting for the aisle vendor at the game is 30 minutes... at the most.

Good for him. He has rights. Stand up for them.

If "god" were blessing America, we'd be in a much better position than we currently are.

or, instead of this entitlement mentality if America was blessing God then maybe we would be in a much better situation

Depends on whether he is rationing food stamps or it's been a couple weeks on one US Treasury check.

Who said anything about christianity, brah? You didn't. I didn't.

Sure, we all know Hindu's, Buddhists and Muslims call their places of worship church. If you make a comment at least own up to and don't play word games, people will respect your opinion that way, even if they don't agree with it.

Not playing word games any more than the response I replied to was.

Here's my take and I'm done.

If they were throwing dude out because he didn't want to be part of god Bless America -- that's messed up. If they were throwing the dude out for being a drunk and generally disruptive, then that's certainly within their right.

I'm not saying don't do the song, and I'm not saying do the song -- personally it doesn't bother me all that much. I think it's a load of crap, but it doesn't hurt me in anyway having to hear it. But I also think if someone wants to protest it by removing themselves from the scene, they have every right to do so.

ahh yes a bash on my statement that a church isnt supposed to be a building, a church is the people FYI....

its a private venue so if they wanted to play amazing grace between every inning then its within their right. and im sure this guy was a beligerant drunk, or at least was raising problems disturbing the peace with the people around him which is not protected speech under the constitution

They do have the right to play whatever song they want. They don't have the right to restrict your movement during that song.

If he was drunk and disorderly then he should have been arrested (or at least cited and removed).

This seems to be a case of another cop abusing his authority because someone didn't conform to his idea of a "good citizen".

I agree with you on this subject, however my comment to you was not about this person or the game. You chose to take it into another direction and when another poster called you out on it you claimed innocence when your intent was clear. When you argue a point by injecting another topic into it and someone calls you on it at least own up to it. People will respect your opinion that way. What you chose to do was hit and run, the cowards way. Maybe you don't want to get into an argument about religion, no problem i don't blame you, but if you inject religion into a subject then at least be man enough to argue the merits or leave it the hell alone. You created this, at least own up to it and don't try to hide behind your words.

Who called me out and on what? I'm not following you here. Yes, I made the comment on religion. Because I don't feel like composing a 5 paragraph essay on the subject I'm not "owning up?" That doesn't make sense. I back up everything I said and I'll "own up" to any of it.

You turned a story that was either about a drunk guy who got out of hand or simply exercising his right to not participate in something he found objectionable to a slam on religion, one religion in particular by your comment on churches, the traditional place of worship in Christianity. When another poster called you out on it you denied the obvious intent. Either you are really careless with words or you were not willing to own up to it. The fact is you did what you did, why try to deny it?

For the record I have no problem with others who do not share a belief in "god" as you put it. Simply own up to what you say and do, people will respect you for it, even if they disagree.
