You turned a story that was either about a drunk guy who got out of hand or simply exercising his right to not participate in something he found objectionable to a slam on religion, one religion in particular by your comment on churches, the traditional place of worship in Christianity. When another poster called you out on it you denied the obvious intent. Either you are really careless with words or you were not willing to own up to it. The fact is you did what you did, why try to deny it?

For the record I have no problem with others who do not share a belief in "god" as you put it. Simply own up to what you say and do, people will respect you for it, even if they disagree.
I think you are misunderstanding what I wrote. When I said "Who said anything about christianity?" I was meaning to imply that my comment was about religion PERIOD. All types. Not just christianity. It was not a cop out. It was an explanation.

So go back and read it again and see if you understand it better. If not, then I simply can't help you because I have no earthly idea what you are trying to say.

I'll take you at your word as far as your intent. But remember God and Church most often refer to Christianity. Muslims do not attend services at a church, neither do Buddhists or Hindus.

I do not move around during the Star Spangled Banner or God Bless America, but I would not want people that do move arrested or tossed pout of the stadium. Whether we agree with them or not, we still have rights; he should not have been kicked out of the game for moving around. Also the cops excuse for kicking him out was a joke:

ejected Campeau-Laurion, 30, after they “observed a male cursing, using inappropriate language and acting in a disorderly manner while reeking of alcohol.”

I am sure that nobody else in Yankee Stadium was drinking or using inappropriate language because I have never seen or heard anybody at a game cuss or drink:rolleyes:.
