Episode 1 was great. I'm a few minutes into episode 2 and pulling my hair out about Kelsey Asbille getting cast in this. I can't stand her.

I enjoyed the first two episodes. The first 20 minutes of episode one, the history of the gangs was just gorgeous I had a smile on my face the whole time.

Just as excellent as I had anticipated. Jessie Buckley’s character is definitely my favorite so far

Anybody else notice the "Treehorn Trucking" logo on the truck in the last episode? Nice Easter egg from The Big Lebowski's Jackie Treehorn.

Ive enjoyed it mostly because of Schwartzman. I do agree I feel like the story has been looser this year. They sure had a helluva body count in this last episode though. Yeesh!

Never know which way they’re going. Always enjoy that dynamic.

Also didn’t make the connection of Swanee to Kelsey Asbille from Yellowstone...or that her real name is Kelsey Chow. She’s been playing Native American roles since Wind River in 2017. Wonder if the Hollywood backlash against casting ethnicities affects her.

I love this season. Timothy Olyphant stole the show. That face to face with Chris Rock was brilliant.

I think this has been the weakest season so far (by a decent margin), however, I'm still enjoying it mostly. Better than most of the garbo on TV still.

Pretty much how I feel. It's good compared to most shows but it's by far the weakest Fargo season and it's not even close. I can't excatly put my finger on why either, the cast is great, the acting has been great, I think the story has just been kind of weak.

Watched the first two seasons and like both equally. I never watched season 3 yet. How does it compare to seasons 1&2.

3 is pretty good; not as good as 1 and 2, but still great. Ewan McGregor won a Golden Globe for his performance. And I think it's much better than 4. 4 right now just seems almost like an outlier.

I go

2 >>> 1 > 3 > 4

All worth watching.
I'm not sure if I'd go with your ranking or 2>>>1>4>3.

I remember loving seasons 1 & 2. Season 3 I thought was a drop off from the 1st two but still good. And it's been long enough that I can't remember enough of season 3 to compare it honestly against season 4.

Season 3 was a drop off but not really that much. Season 4 feel like a pretty major drop off to me. With season 3 I was still interested every week and looked forward to it, and watched it the night it came out. With Season 4 after about 3 episodes I honestly was losing interest and let the rest of the season finish before I binged it. The story just ended up being pretty weak to me.

I found too many characters this season just annoying. Chris Rock did great, Timothy Olyphant did great, Rabbit did great, the girl did fine, most of Rock's crew did fine, but the nurse, psycho Italian Negan, and Jason Schwartzman all did not do it for me. The nurse was supposed to be quirky evil but was just annoying, and Psycho Italian Negan was supposed to be....psycho and unpredictable but he came across as just sort of a cookie cutter crazy character that ended up boring to me. And I love Jason Schwartzman but after the fact I think he was a horrible casting choice. I totally bought Chris Rock as a mob leader, but I did NOT buy Schwartzman as an Italian mob boss. He ended up doing the same typical Schwartzman routine and it just didn't work for me.

Agree with pretty much all of those. The nurse was okay with me I guess. Gaetano Fadda was meh. His voice was annoying. I didn't know if they were trying to rip off the voice from Marlon Brando's Don Corleone in The Godfather or if he really talked that way. Either way he was one of the weaker characters.

As for Schwartzman, I didn't think he was supposed to be perceived as a good Italian mob boss by the viewer and that was why he was cast. He was the son that wasn't really cut out for mob leadership, but was given the job because he was "next in line" as the son.

Yeah I think that's what they were going for with Schwartzman; I guess to me he was just being too much of his typical roles so it was hard to buy.

Schwartzman's Fredo but with false confidence. I liked the nurse. I liked everybody except for the jailbreak duo.

S4 was a disaster, probably killed the Fargo franchise. We waited 3 years for this?
