I was skeptical for a while, but he must really be a rare breed in this profession. The amount of college jobs he's turned down is incredible, and he supposedly even turned down an NFL job last offseason.

Both teams each had almost over 490 yards of offense in game laden with snow

ISU finishes the season 7-5 and will await its bowl game.

7-5 to 9-3 seasons are royalty there.

On the flip side, there will be a void with Texas and OU leaving that will need to be filled. The quality of teams will drop but maybe he can elevate them with the two big ones gone.

this was a fun game to watch. something dfifferent about watching the teams play in that much snow.

Not sure why, because I grew up watching the SEC, but anytime a game is played in the snow it just feels nostalgic.
