Holder pushing his chips all in

Holder Denies Prior Knowledge Of 'Fast And Furious' | Fox News

On Wednesday, Attorney General Eric Holder said for the first time that not only he but also other higher-ups at the Justice Department were not aware of the operation as it was being carried out. Holder also suggested politics could be a driving force behind Republican lawmakers' forceful inquiries into the matter.

"Holder also suggested politics could be a driving force behind Republican lawmakers' forceful inquiries into the matter."

Is he trying to say it shouldn't be considered a big deal and we should just sweep it under the rug? If so, that is usually a guilty person's response who doesn't want the situation investigated further.

If he truly didn't know anything about it, his response would be: "I had no knowledge but it is a serious matter that we need to get to the bottom of. We need to find out exactly what happened and why I as attorney general was not informed of the actions of the ATF."

yes it's politics in trying to find out why guns we gave them were used to kill US agents. Everyone in this admin thinks we're a bunch of morons

Just curious. Is this better/worse than giving weapons to the taliban, etc.?

We armed the taliban to fight the Russians which was
supposed to be good for us.

We have run this operation which has harmed a supposed
ally, Mexico, harmed Americans, including our own agents,
and was done obviously in a psyop operation meant to
be an oblique assault on our second amendment rights.

Which then do you say is better/worse??

IMO applying moral relativity to each and every little
detail of life is a loser's proposition.

The whole operation has been political from the beginning.

Holder won't be able to use that dodge for very long.

ps; what about the pm option on our board, will we
have it back in the future at some point?

Thats awesome!:eek:lol:

I thought so too!

Holder should be impeached for lying to congress.

If that doesn't come to pass then he should be hounded
out of his job for incompetence and dereliction of duty.

The foreign affairs commitee needs to also hold hearings
loooking into the illegal exports to Mexico and Honduras
and any other countries, the state department (which at
times seems so powerful as to be an government unto
itself) , needs to be quetioned closely over it's involvement.

As for the grenades and IEDs, my guess is that if and/or
when our porous border becomes such a problem that
we can't ignore it any longer and have to do something
to atleast partially close it to illegal immigration and
smuggling, we will have to deal with those sorts of
weapons being used against our own border patrol and
possibly national guard.

I've said all along that the southwest will be another
theater of war opened by the enemy in a flanking move.

They aren't nearly as stupid as some people think.

Our worst problem of all is that we have enemies at
the higest levels of our own government.

ATF Death Watch 75: ATF-Enabled Indiana Guns Went to Chicago Gangs | The Truth About Guns

I just got off the blower with Brent R. Weil [above] 0f
Kightlinger and Gray, LLP. The Evansville, Indiana lawyer
represents the [as yet unnamed] gun store that sold
firearms to ATF-enabled straw purchasers. “The ATF
told my client to let the sales go through,” Mr. Weil told
TTAG. “He later told me that the guns went to Chicago
gangs.”
-------------------

In one case, a buyer and his associate left the store
and smashed their vehicle into a police car on their way
out. (Seriously.) The driver was charged with the traffic
incident, but allowed to keep the guns and proceed.
-----------------------------

And if the guns purchased in Evansville ended up in The
Windy City, the ATF’s heir apparent—Chi-town
Bureau Chief Andrew Traver—must have known about
the policy.
--------------------------------

Meanwhile, rumors are swirling that the Carson City
killer used an ATF-enabled AK-47 during his murderous
rampage.

I've read that Obama and Tavers have some personal
history, which would'nt be surprising, given a partial
list of past Obama associates, but I havn't verified
that yet.

ATF Death Watch 78: FBI Claim “National Security” in Gunwalker Coverup | The Truth About Guns

.. the FBI has been caught covering-up the true circumstances surrounding Agent Terry’s murder.

Both the Operation and the extent of the cover-up
remain obscured. But new details offer intriguing clues
as to why the ATF sent some 2000 weapons across
the border, placing them in the hands of the Sinaloa
drug cartel . . .

Against all available evidence, the mainstream media
has perpetuated the idea that Operation Fast and
Furious was a “botched sting.”

The gun rights community has consistently maintained
that the program was an attempt to create a crisis for
the Obama administration to exploit (to provide ammo
in the Left’s endless fight against Americans’ Second
Amendment rights).
------------------------

Sources say the informants previously worked for the
DEA and U.S. Marshall’s Office but their contracts were
terminated because the men were “stone-cold killers.”
-------------

Also today [via CBS], we learned that the Congressional
investigation into the White House’s involvement in Fast
and Furious has centered on some new names:

Today, the Congressional investigation into ATF’s Fast
and Furious scandal officially expanded to include
White House staffers.

In a letter to President Obama’s National Security
Advisor Thomas Donilon, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and
Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) asked for records
involving three current and former White House
staffers.

The staffers are:

Kevin O’Reilly, former Director of North American
Affairs, National Security Council;

Dan Restrepo, Special Assistant to the President, National Security Council; and

Greg Gatjanis, Director for Terrorist Finance and Counternarcotics, Counterterrorism Policy, National Security Council.--------------------------

Meanwhile, Fox and friends (e.g. The Sipsey Street
Irregulars) report the FBI’s coverup for what it is: an
attempt to pull a veil over a jumbo-sized can of worms.
