I'm thinking it's because of all the Paul McCartney death clues hidden in that cover. There are a bunch in that cover. There are at least two just in the drum. The middle picture is the result of holding a mirror in the middle of the letters. It spells out the rumored date of McCartney's fatal car accident. The one on the right is an anagram of what the drum says.

Cool. I had no idea.

I went for the longest time not really loving Fun House. Then one day I put it on for no particular reason, and I don't think it left my CD player for a month. In terms of pure, unmitigated rock n' roll, Fun House may be the greatest example one will ever find.

Great topic!

Love the Molly Hatchet. Surprised there is no mention of Journey yet. Always liked the Kiss album art also. This makes me wonder if one isn't biased to the art based on preference to the music.

While the music is not my favorite I have to say my favorite single album art is King Crimson.

The first 3 songs are everything RnR is about with Loose being the pinnacle.

My favorite Stooges song is Search and Destroy

I'm a huge Iggy fan. Kill City, a side project he did with James Williamson while he was in some sort of rehab is my favorite I think though New Values and Soldier are right up there.
