Chris Lofton, hands down. 3x 2nd team All-American and he beat testicular cancer without really telling anyone. He is in my top 3 of favorite Vols in any sport (Peyton 1st, Eric Berry 2nd, Lofton 3rd)

This poll is for children. Anyone with a memory of others that didn't play in the recent history is automatically eliminated. Bill Justus, Tom Boerwinkle, Jimmy England, Howard Bayne, Orb Bowling, and others were more qualified than many of those selectively listed. They just happened to play in the 60's and 70's. They are no less VFL's than others and may be more so!

How could they have been VFLs without Twitter!?!?!

Poked a hole in your logic, sir.

Yeah, there were two other threads on the same topic created today, so you wouldn't expect a third. Irony.

No, it would be ironic if you complained about the repeated threads, and then created this thread unaware of the hypocrisy. That would be irony.

I think you mean that you created this thread "sarcastically".

Sarcastic, sure. Ironic in that it's unexpected, not so much the "crazy coincidence" definition of irony, as you mentioned.

I guess definition 3a from Merriam-Webster is a more along my intention:
"(1)incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result (2) : an event or result marked by such incongruity"
