Favorite Beverage On Game Day

This on ice only....

I do love Blanton's and definitely on the rocks. I try to keep a bottle of that on hand at all times. 93 proof and a great sipping whiskey. On game day I always go with JD Single Barrel if I am at home. I may smuggle some Old #7 into Neyland but always a Tennessee whiskey on gameday.

I don't know if you've tried this bourbon but it has become my favorite. Woodford Reserve Master's Collection. I personally like the oak but the maple is great as well.

Blantons is good OP but I tried this at a Bourbon tasting and have been hooked ever since. Always a bottle of this on the boat. Also Makers Mark and Coke 0 for mass consumption as well as a couple varieties of shine and the wife drinks miller lite. Well there's Fireball too.

I have never seen that type of Woodford ... How much does that set you back?

Not wealthy! My in laws go on a lot of cruises and bring me back a bottle duty free every time. They know it's my favorite and it's relatively cheap there. Not really sure how it compares to other blended scotch. It's the only kind I've tried. Someone bought me one at my bachelor party and I've been hooked ever since.

Duty free it is still a pricey beverage. It can be bought duty free at airports as well.

Cheap champagne and orange juice to start it off, then Miller Lite, finally I like to bring four mini bottles of JD in the game-- one each quarter (with a fountain coke, of course) and two fireballs for halftime. That's generally my go to for game day.

Just got some down here in TX. Also very good.

Liquor slushies:

Take wife's expensive food processor or high hp blender
Add ice
crush until consistency of snow cone ice
Add 1-2 scoops in a whiskey glass
Top with copius portion of your favorite sipping liquor

For me usually knob creek, maker's mark or whatever else is on hand.

First sips are ice cold straight whiskey and later sips have needed hydration add liquor snow as needed.

My favorite is a good pale ale, with an occasional shot of B&B. But I don't usually have BB on hand, so beer..

It is around $90. As bad as the Vols have been the last few years I keep that locked up on gameday. The quantity of bourbon necessary requires a bottle with a lower price point.
