so basically about 75% of college football players look like punk. nice. again, that's part of the game. UT fans have no reason they can make fun of Tebow.

They did the same thing to Ainge last year and he didn't even cry. He was an ass, taunted the Student Section, threw a int, LSU won, he cried. I think thats funny.

Yes we do. He's a gator.

And yes, the large majority that makes those gestures looks like punks. But the large majority don't cry when they lose either.

not to sound like TVA, but Tebow has a ring and Ainge doesn't. It's dedication man. I can't and won't make fun of a player's heart.

Nah, He's one providential hit away from a season ending injury every time he does the Riggin's run. We have enough trouble with a SMART qb getting those little nagging injuries (not saying he's not bright....he just SOMETIMES acts like it) that throws 90% of his passes under 10 yrds and knows when to slide. Put Tebow on our team and he'd be out with an ACL in less than a quarter.........don't get me wrong...I'm a happy man today, but I know how the punishment adds up... first hand ( T-3 and 4 compression fracture from playing with reckless abandon). Please......I'm also not making a comparison to Tebow. I just know it's a matter of time unless his "smarts" can start outwieghing his ego :salute:

it's funny. Tebow is always seconds away from injury with his style, but he's yet to be hurt. and ainge is hurt all the time

Agree to disagree. I don't take Tebow's crying as "heart". He's always come across as cocky and conceited. He looks more like a little kid that didn't get his way than someone that is crying because he lost, like the kid that cried when he struck out in little league baseball. I'm glad LSU handed his ass to him. It was great. And I will always make fun of a gator when the opportunity arises.

Ok,I agree with volfanbill,in that Tebow has heart and dedication for the game.A lot of the people in here like to smack talk when it comes to other schools but that's all part of the game.I consider laughing at Tebow as part of that(I'm guilty too) but I'm not laughing at him because of his dedication for the game.

i see your point about laughing at a gator. I took plenty of shots against Noah, because he was just an idiot. But I really believe it was just heart and dedication and hating to lose that had Tebow crying. The kissing thing is really weird, but with everything I've read on Tebow, I just can't imagine he's remotely close to gay. So I guess I just haven't found something to make fun of him for. If he gets too beat up to play a full season, I might chuckle then.

I never made fun of the kissing thing. That was just an awkward moment for everybody involved, even the announcers.

If he gets injured, I'll chuckle at Urban Meyer. He may make through this season, but the odds are stacked against him making it a whole career without being injured.

Played VERY sparingly his frosh year and is a third of the way through his soph year. I think that it is obvious that he will be a VERY durable and reliable QB for years and years (pro too) to come, but I'm just saying if he escapes serious injury until he "gets" the whole qb thing it will be divine intervention.

Yes, but he played in the bowl game that year. I wouldn't have put it up had he been seriously injured.

That play gave me chill bumps.
