I forgot Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid...gave us Knockin on Heavens Door

Also The Graduate. Simon and Garfunkel's music matched the tone to perfection and elevated the emotion of the film.

Are we talking favorite because of the songs or favorite because of how the songs went with the movie?

I'd never go out of my way to listen to it, but the soundtrack to The Last of The Mohicans was good for the movie.

Don't forget "That Thing You Do", that whole soundtrack was brilliant. My favorite was "Voyage Around the Moon" by the Saturn Fives.

I know it's a TV show, but Game of Thrones does some magnificent work. The music for last seasons final episode was absolutely genius.
