I picked the Mavs.

They have a crazy billionaire owner, a star named Dirk, a snarling horse for a mascot, and a guy I know coming off the bench. What more could you want?

I don't like the Spurs, but Robinson is one of my favorite players ever to play in the NBA even if I'm really to young to remember him when he played.

Yes the Admiral was very good and a great person as well.
What about Tim Duncan? Or Ginobli, Parker? All very good players and class acts.
(I know big shot Bob hip checked the greasy haired Canadian, but COME ON! He's Canadian!)

Grow up.

And Americans wonder why everyone hates them....

Thankfully, I know that it's only a certain few that make 'em look REALLY bad, and most are awesome people.

The Spurs are a great franchise. You have to give them respect, no matter what.

Their fans can be d-bags, though.

No, some soft hearted bleeding hearts care what others think. The majority of us could give a rats ass what most other countries think. I'll tell you this. I've been to many, many countries and I am not ready to move to any of them. Great places to visit but I know where the best is.
Also, if you notice those who hate us have no problems taking the cheese we send them when their ass is in a bind.

You have no clue what you are talking about. San Antonio is one of the great cities in this country. You need to get away from all the hippies and rain and travel a little.

Suns. I never really cared about NBA ball until I lived there. We had corp. season tickets and no one really wanted the tix so I always took one of my customers that loved them. Never turn down platinum club tix in Phx. :)

You have been to Spurs games? Good. I have been many times to Spurs and several other teams around the country. The Spurs are a class org and their fans are better than most I've been around.
When Portland can keep their players out of jail you can talk.

:eek:lol: I can't even read that without laughing, it's so completely incorrect.

It's 2007, not 2002.

Laugh at this. Name me a Spurs player who has been arrested. Or give me an example of dirt bag fans. The Spurs have been the best team in the league for the last decade.

That's your opinion.... Canadians feel the same about their country, too. 99% of them really have no complaints about living there. There are FAR worse places to live.

It's a joke man!

But I don't like the French and that is not a joke!

I don't like the French, either... but there is only one French province. Canada is very much an english-speaking country. If you went up to the majority of Canadians and started speaking French to them, they would look at you like you had 10 heads. Quebec has been threatening to separate from Canada for years... and I keep hoping that one day they'll actually do it.

Being cussed at in San Antonio on the riverwalk when I had a Mavs t-shirt on. Getting crap talked about me at a sports bar in DFW by a group of Spurs fans for rooting the Mavs on during a game.

Still, insinuating that the Blazers still have team troubles is a tremendous fallacy. For somebody who is supposedly so well-traveled about the NBA to make a statement showing such a lack of knowledge is pretty incredible.

Ive been to Canada MANY times. A nice place to visit but that is it. Western Canada is the best part IMO and it's not even close. But I have no doubt that the best place to live in the world is the United States of America. Period!
