Favorite Tennesse vs South Carolina plays

It was pretty sweet in 1993 during the payback beatdown. I don't remember the player but someone tackled Steve Taneyhill by his mullet and later was showing the locks of hair off in the locker room.

I think it was 1992 Mose Phillips against South Carolina. "...Phillips running through, around, over, and underneath defenders for South Carolina, takes the ball all the way home for a miraculous touchdown.." was the call from John Ward. I couldn't find a video clip of it. Somebody post one if you know where to find it. The guy broke something like 5-6 tackles.

If we had won the game I think that play would be in the top 10 of all time plays in the 90s for us

Not my favorite by any means, but I was there when Lattimore tore his knee up.

Still one of the worst things I've seen live.

Really unfortunate. He was a pain in the neck to deal with if you were the opposition but he was a good guy and very talented. Hated to see it.

Not one play, but in 1969 USC came to Neyland with an AA FB Warren Muir. I had the pleasure of watching Jack Reynolds stuff him for almost nothing in yards for the whole game.

This was mine too. Mostly because I was able to see it in person with my family and wife. I don't get to go to a ton of games so I probably won't ever forget it. The buzz and electricity and singing and chanting while leaving the stadium was amazing. Get chills just thinking about it.

I couldn’t talk for a week after that game. I damaged everything in my body that day and paid for it for 3 days after being sick as a dog. But I would do it all over again 1000x!

2009 game with the black unis was one of the most electric games I have ever been to.
