Bristol on tv and in person..... I still remember when they offered the vols a chance to play there. Still wonder how many would have showed up there.

Not as many as they were talking about. It would be a terrible venue for a football game. The stands are too far away from the infield. The lower closer seats are too low to see well.

Talladega is my favorite track to go to. Something about seeing 30+ cars in a pack that tight at 190+ in person that sends chills up my spine. Unless it's more like Daytona this year. Def not going to the spring race to watch more of the Daytona style drafting.

Maybe one of the dates, but not both. I would also swap one of the Martinsville dates if we could bring back North Wilkesboro.

I drove by North Wilkesboro last weekend on 421, sadly there is alot of work that would need to be done for one of Nascars big 3 series to go back there.

Charlotte is my favorite track, mainly because I grew up about 15 minutes from the track. I have been to Daytona twice and had a blast. I look forward to the races at Richmond, Bristol, and Martinsville.

As for Martinsville, my answer is a loud "NO!" If you're gonna drop some races, drop the 2nd race at Pocono, the road courses, Chicago, Kansas, or Atlanta.

Been to Bristol, Charlotte, Atlanta and Richmond. LOVED them all. You cannot take a track off the list until you you have actually been there to see a race live. That's what all my Martinsville friends say anyway...
Hoping to go see Ross Kenseth race at North Wilkesboro in April. Love the old tracks.

Bristol, no doubt. I've been there three times since 2007 and I'll be heading out tomorrow morning for number four.

I like Martinsville, but can't stand Pocono. They definitely need to scrap one of the Pocono races and give it to another track. Pocono races are boring as hell to watch and it seems like they go there twice in a one month period.

I'm not a huge fan of road courses, but I like that it is something different twice a year. I also think they should move one of the road courses into the Chase. Would make it more interesting.

The OLD Bristol. The new repaved 2 wide Bristol is boring, but it is still my favorite. Looking forward to seeing it again this weekend.

I'm also anticipating the first cup race at Kentucky this year. The busch races have all been great.

yeah, really. i mean who wants side by side racing anyway?

They can race side by side at all the other tracks. What used to be the unique event that was bristol has been reduced to a snoozefest. Don't know if you have seen it live to get the real effect, but its nothing close to the same.

Yeah, 43 cars two and three wide on a half mile track is a total borefest. How exiting was that race in 05 where Kenseth led 455 laps?

The racing hasn't changed, just the people who complain about.

If you want to watch a parade you can probably save a lot money and catch the next one in your town; though you'll prolly have to wait until Memorial Day.

I missed one race in the last 10 years.

What doozer said! How can follow the leader be better than side by side? If those of you who feel this way are honest with yourselves, you would say you actually prefer wrecks to racing. I would take a hotly contested race without one caution over a wreckfest where the race is a one or two driver affair.

and if you prefer wrecks to racing, your local demo derby would LOVE to have you out to their event.
